Key Responsibilities

•    Developing and expanding the Financial Institutions (FI) distribution platform for all Global Markets products to Bank and FI clients in Hong Kong for China offshores
•    Migrate best practices in order to achieve a uniform distribution platform in Hong Kong
•    Execute the FI sales strategy and align it to SCB’s Global Markets and Wholesale Banking (WB) Strategies.

•    Improvement of China team-work in Hong Kong and work closely with product partner.
•    Execution of marketing and sales strategy across all markets in alignment with WB and Global Market strategies.
•    Continually develop Investor coverage model that optimizes in Hong Kong revenue generation and encourages cross-selling opportunities.
•    Pro-actively monitor per-capita production for is maximized revenue and to work with Head FI to ensure sales incentives are structured in the manner to achieve a common yardstick of both measurement as well as production incentivisation. 
•    Work jointly with RFX, Origination, Fixed Income to achieve Top rankings in league tables in Hong Kong.
•    Ensure all sales staff are in compliance with the Bank’s internal policies and local regulatory requirements and also the Anti-Money Laundering policies/measures, Suspicious Transactions Reporting requirements and where necessary to obtain the requisite pre-approvals for all excesses  through the respective Global Markets Country Heads.
•    Establish and maintain a network of relationships with key partners in the bank.
•    Provide feedback on the market and the business to Head, FI Hong Kong and Regional Head of FI and Global Market.

Skills and Experience

  • Good understanding of Chinese FI market, regulations, and products, especially multi-assets non-flow solution products
  • Good relationship with Chinese FI clients especially bank and broker dealer clients domiciled in China and HK
  • good team work player, highly performance driven, adaptable to changing market environment
