Job Summary

This is a Financial Markets Sales role covering Financial Institutional clients in the Greater China & North Asia region on Credit Flow business inclusive of both primary and secondary credit.

Responsibilities

•    Based in Hong Kong as a client coverage salesperson and to support the existing Hong Kong Sales team
•    Responsible for all credit product distribution to Financial Institutional accounts in Hong Kong.
•    Leverage strong knowledge of credit product and understanding of the Financial Institutional client base including but not limited to Banks, Real Money, Hedge funds & Private Banks and to increase SCB’s profile as the premier franchise for Asian, Middle Eastern and African credit, in all currencies.
•    Collaborate closely with stakeholders including Client Coverage, Capital Markets, Trading, Research, and Structuring to identify opportunities, drive initiatives, and maximize revenue.

•    Penetrate existing accounts and bring in new relationship to drive business and achieve budget.

•    Execution and supervision of Trade Initiation, Execution & Capture.

 •    Identify, assess, monitor, control and mitigate risks within the Credit Sales team and Credit franchise. Be aware of and understand the main risks facing Credit Sales and manage those risks.

Requirements

•    Credit sales experience covering Financial Institutional clients 
•    Knowledge in Financial Risk Management and Business Markets
•    Strong product knowledge
