Title: Director, Markets Products Specialist, Credit, WM

Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model appropriate to the role
• Execute long term strategic plans and tactical plans to capture business opportunities within the footprint of SCB in HK on Fixed Income asset class
Business
• Strong sales and interpersonal skills with expertise in fixed income.
• Ensure fixed income business meeting its financial performance targets. This will include constant monitoring of financial performance, frequent contacts through visits, conference calls, email exchanges to help ensure financial metric stay on track
• Promote best execution platform for Fixed Income asset class
• Assist to deploy digital platform to enable scalability of Fixed Income business.
Processes
• Provide the best execution for Wealth Management segment in the markets it serves.
• Understand the processes and suggest any potential improvements and streamlining
People & Talent
• Learn and equip to become a fixed income product specialist
Risk Management
• Identify, monitor, manage and control business, operations, governance and compliance risk with regards to HK Fixed Income business
• Ensure conformity with the relevant internal and external rules and regulations
Governance
• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
• Responsible for delivering effective governance; capability to challenge fellow executively; and willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key stakeholders
• Constantly engage with internal parties to facilitate the processes and to support on any enquiries and needs

• Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures
