Job Summary

•    This is a senior regional leadership role responsible for leading the Prime Services Sales franchise across Asia, with accountability for revenue growth, client origination, and development of an integrated Sales and Relationship Management platform. •    The role leads the regional execution of the global Prime strategy, driving client acquisition, wallet expansion and product penetration across FX Prime Brokerage, OTC Clearing, Rates Intermediation and Futures Clearing.
•    The jobholder is responsible for building a high-performing, client-centric organisation, enhancing client experience, and ensuring strong alignment across Product, Risk, Operations and Coverage to deliver sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    Define and execute the Asia Prime Services sales strategy, aligned to global priorities 
•    Establish clear client segmentation and targeting frameworks, focused on high-value opportunities 
•    Drive new-to-bank and wallet expansion across key client segments 
•    Embed a consistent client value proposition across the region 
•    Partner with Product to align sales effort with platform development and strategic priorities

Business
•    Deliver against regional revenue targets with clear ownership and performance accountability 
•    Lead pipeline management, account planning and opportunity prioritisation across the region 
•    Ensure strong commercial discipline across pricing, client selection and resource allocation 
•    Monitor market trends, competitor activity and client demand to inform strategy 
•    Drive innovation in client solutions, maximising existing platform capabilities
 
Processes
•    Ensure effective deal execution from origination to onboarding, working closely with Client Solutions and Operations 
•    Maintain pipeline discipline and governance across deals and client engagement 
•    Lead responses to RFPs and complex client proposals 
•    Act as senior escalation point for client issues and drive resolution

People & Talent 
•    Build and lead a high-performing Sales and Relationship Management team across Asia 
•    Define coverage model, roles and performance expectations 
•    Develop talent through structured coaching, feedback and succession planning 
•    Embed a client-centric, accountable and high-performance culture

Risk Management
•    Ensure sales and client activities operate within risk appetite and regulatory frameworks 
•    Maintain oversight of key risks (credit, operational, conduct) 
•    Promote strong risk discipline and accountability across the team 
•    Escalate issues appropriately and in a timely manner
 
Governance 
•    Ensure adherence to Group governance standards and regulatory expectations 
•    Provide effective challenge where required and maintain appropriate balance between client advocacy and business model discipline 
•    Ensure appropriate governance around client engagement, pricing and product roll-out

Regulatory & Business Conduct 
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Qualifications

•    Deep expertise in Prime Services and relevant client segments, with a strong understanding of client buying behaviours and decision drivers across Asia.
•    Proven track record of revenue delivery and client origination 
•    Strong client network and market credibility 
•    Demonstrated leadership experience managing and scaling teams 
•    Experience in Futures Clearing / ETD advantageous
