Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team as a technical lead for the design and development of our EQ booking and life cycle system.

In this role, you will be responsible for various aspects of the system, including technical leadership, mentoring, gathering requirements, and collaborating with different teams. Your deep knowledge of EQ derivatives products, such as Options, Range Accrual, Equity Swap, and Accumulator, is essential for the success of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of the EQ booking and life cycle system, ensuring its robustness and scalability, with a focus on deep product knowledge of EQ derivatives.

  • Collaborate closely with Front Office (FO) and Middle Office (MO) users to gather and define system requirements, using business understanding terminology to ensure that technical solutions align with their needs.
  • Work in tandem with the Quant team to enhance models and seamlessly integrate them with the system, leveraging your product knowledge for better integration.
  • Provide initial support to users, addressing technical issues and troubleshooting, and communicate effectively with FO to ensure their requirements are met
  • Utilize your strong background in performance tuning to ensure the system operates efficiently, meeting the demands of EQ derivatives products
  • Develop and integrate with other systems over RESTful APIs and various network protocols to ensure seamless data flow and communication between systems. 

Qualifications

  • Expect in Software Development in c#
  • Advanced Agile Methodology & Deliver
  • Good problem-solving capabilities and execution
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong scope and accountability management
  • Strong regular communication highlighting impediments and requesting help where required / reporting to management on progress.
  • Good understanding of Equity and Derivatives products front-to-back
  • Good knowledge of Financial Market processes (Trade processing, Life cycling, Risk, back office, etc…).
