Title: Supply Chain Finance Cluster Lead, Greater China & North Asia

Job Summary
• The Trade & Working Capital Supply Chain Finance (SCF) Cluster Lead is responsible for supporting the Trade Cluster Head and the Global Supply Chain Finance Head on managing a broad portfolio of Receivables Purchase, Supplier Finance and other related SCF programs.
• This role will translate the global SCF strategy into the respective cluster strategy, develop and execute on business plans, coordinate with country heads and local product managers and act as the key contact point for all cluster level SCF matters.
• SCF Cluster Lead owns and drives the growth of SCF client revenues and relationships through effective structuring, increased wallet penetration, and the scaling of programs. This role leads a team of SCF market managers to support day-to-day interactions with clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive incremental revenue through structured Supplier Chain Finance solutions, targeting wallet optimization and return on capital.
• Support deal teams with pricing insights, onboarding timelines for deal utilization, and supplier / buyer participation structures.
• Track commercial performance at both program and portfolio levels, providing inputs into revenue planning, BCA renewals, and deal reviews.
• Deliver value-based structuring to ensure alignment of financial objectives with client and internal profitability targets.
• Identify scalable opportunities in partnership with Sales, SSD, Coverage and Product teams, tailoring go-to-market plans for key client opportunities
• Leverage competitive insights and client-specific intelligence to shape positioning and increase program adoption.
• Build strong client relationships to support future mandates, cross-sell opportunities, and reference case development.
• Manage the regular review and update of pipeline within the portfolio.
• Provide SCF product insights to internal stakeholders to ensure only the best most readily executable opportunities are pursued from outset.
• Provide inputs to deal structure and risk assessment
• Facilitate realization of programs/facilities potential by leading frequent discussions with client project team, ensuring appropriate targets are set with client decision makers, appropriate team assigned, procurement training and ways of working agreed
• Manage a team of Market Program Managers to ensure clients see a smooth transition by shepherding and driving progress with Sales, Product, Legal, Implementations, Middle Office, Trade Operations, etc.
• Engage in client documentation negotiation and bespoke process review and approvals
• Accountable as the single-point-of-contact for clients for entire deal lifecycle and post-go live
• Driving client engagement beyond treasury, to include procurement, operations, technology, and other stakeholders key for a successful program
• Develop and drive the cluster-level SCF strategy by identifying high-impact, executable opportunities in partnership relevant front-line teams across coverage, sales and products
• Ensure proper prioritization of deals to align with market trends, client demand, and delivery readiness.
• Embed program ramp-up plans within the strategic roadmap, including timeline management, onboarding readiness, and cross-functional ownership.
• Translate pipeline health into strategic insights for investment planning, client engagement sequencing, and long-term delivery outlook.
Qualifications
• 12+ years of regional or global experience managing or selling Supply Chain Finance and Trade Finance solutions in global financial institutions and geographies
• Combination of large and small deal experience across geographies and customer segments including MNCs, large LCs and SMEs
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Experience in leading/driving change including strong project and process management skills
• Strong people management skills
• Strong sales and interpersonal skills with an ability and knowledge to articulate Supplier Chain Finance program benefits
• Ability to negotiate and understand legal agreements supporting Supplier Chain Finance solutions
• Strong Supplier Supply Chain Finance (Receivables Purchase, Supplier Finance, Distributor Finance), Cash and FX product knowledge
• English and a local language would be a plus
