Job Summary

  • A dynamic, talented application support engineer who is ready for a challenge where teamwork, technical ability, and problem-solving skills are essential. Supports Development and Change initiatives. 
  • Identifying and solving issues across multiple components of critical business system
  • Ensuring that the services are running smoothly by proactive monitoring and maintaining the system
  • Provide technical support to customers and resolve their issues related to application services and operations
  • Strong experience in developing and implementing high performance scalable JEE applications
  • Strong SQL experience of writing complex queries
  • Solid knowledge of OOP software concepts, design patterns, and best practices    
  • Supports Change and Release management activities
  • Supports Production rollouts
  • Troubleshoot Production issues and fix accordingly Heap / core analysis
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self motivated, independent, detail oriented and a responsible team player
  • Ability to communicate effectively – both verbal and written communications

Business
Technology Support:

  • Understand that traceability and reporting are extremely important in highly compliant environments and be prepared to engrain these practices in team’s ways of working
  • Knowledge of monitoring and maintaining critical business systems

People & Talent

  • Troubleshoots production problems related to application
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Maintains compliance with standard operating procedures to ensure data security
  • Undertake responsible tasks without supervision, including monitoring and maintaining the system 
  • Monitor progress and provide updates to the Technical Lead / Project Manager promptly and accurately
  • Able to work independently as well as a team in providing out-of-the box solution if required
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
