Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    Production support management
•    L2, L3 and high priority incident management. 
•    Country Stakeholder management. 
•    Continuity Management
•    Infrastructure Management
•    Knowledge Management within team 
•    Risk and Audit management.
•    Manage capacity and continuity management affairs.
•    Manage Service level and Operational Level engagement with relevant stake holders and ensure the commitments are met.
•    PSS and other technology adherence and mitigation of deviations
•    Provide timely workaround solutions for failing issue pattern which requires source code fix.
•    Plan and Participate in DR and continuity management activities.
•    Identify improvement items and strategize for its timely implementation.
•    Work out proactive monitoring and alerting for all critical support areas including client/process journeys. 
•    Explore and implement potential Self-Healing capabilities

•    Transaction Banking – Trade

Processes
Incident Management
•    Manage High Severity Incidents and participate recovery activities
•    Manage Customer impacted non high severity Incidents and recovery activities
•    Prepare Impact Analysis for all incidents
•    Define incident action items and follow-up for closure
•    Manage application availability with defined outage and ensure SLA compliance
•    Perform routine Application Health checks

Problem Management
•    Root cause analysis for high impact incidents
•    Defining Preventive actions
•    Follow-up on preventive action implementation and closure

Change Management
•    Review all application changes and assess the impact
•    Review all infra changes and assess the impact
•    Review all interface changes
•    Implementation of changes in production 
•    Verification of application health and availability 
•    ITIL/DevOps/SRE practices are followed

People & Talent
•    Communicate effectively and professionally.
•    Showcase Responsiveness in work
•    Treat colleagues and stakeholders Fairley and respectfully

Risk Management
•    Identify the potential risks involved in above tasks
•    Register the risk and define mitigation plans
•    Follow-up for Risk closure
•    Notify/Alert Seniors about any risk that have high potential for a service/reputational/regulatory/financial impact to the bank.

Governance
Continuity Management
•    Document new operating procedures based on new configuration deployments
•    Review and correct the existing Disaster Recovery Plans
•    Review and correct the existing BCP plans
•    Execute DR plans and ensure RTO SLA achieved
•    Create Action Plans for the DR improvements and follow-up for closure

System Maintenance & Stake holder management
•    Execute Application Maintenance when needed
•    Periodic SLA review and identify system improvement plans
•    Prepare and amend application monitoring scripts

Audit and Governance
•    Work on all audit response by collaborating with relevant teams appropriately
•    Work with governance teams from STS, HICS etc and support and manage the expectations.

Regulatory & Business Conduct
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
•    Lead the CIB Trade Technology to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.]

Qualifications
