Job Summary

•    Managing day to day processes of Global Lending Services-specifically financial controls related aspects and queries.

•    Supporting activities pertaining to Loan Purchases and Sales (Loan closing activities)

•    Processing / Release of transactions as per prescribed transactional standards

•    Pre/Post transaction management 

•    Handling client queries and pursuing complete resolution

•    Leading Change Management / Transitions / Project Execution

•    Supporting new systems / product implementation / Standards rollout

•    Transition to people leader role (in future, based on departmental requirements)

•    Stakeholder management 

•    Strong adherence to risk – Putting clients first without compromising risk 

•    Flexible working days / hours should be in tune with Flexible Work Policies from time to time and is to be agreed with the line manager.

•    Strategy: Supporting Group /Business /Unit Strategies from time to time 
•    Business: Understanding end to end process of Corporate Lending and operations within SCB

•    Flexibility to take up people leader role commensurate to departmental requirements
•    Risk Management: 
•    Instituting preventive and detective controls as part of day-to-day job
•    Putting clients first without compromising risk
•    Governance: Same as above
•    Regulatory & Business Conduct: 
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
•    Ensuring / Supporting Fair Outcomes for Clients;
•    Supporting measures for Financial Crime Compliance- Example: AML/CDD/Sanctions compliance etc. 

Key stakeholders

•    Internal: Frontline (Relationship Managers/ Client Management team), Product Partners, Credit Risk, Credit, CDD, Treasury, Risk, Financial Crime Compliance, Audit, Risk Review functions etc.
•    External : Clients, Counterpart financial institutions

Qualifications

•    LANGUAGES: Excellent competency in English (Verbal and written)

•   Strong financial Accounting and Financial Investigation background is required
