Job Summary

Business and change analyst sits within the S&T COO team and acts as a bridge between the stakeholders and CRES CIO team. The role is responsible for analysing and documenting business requirements, finding opportunities to improve existing processes 

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    Successful candidate will be responsible to understand the business strategy and align business requirements and priorities inline with the overall strategic view. 

Business
•    Understand and articulate business requirements clearly. 
•    Work with stakeholders and business counterparts closely and understand the business rationale clearly
•    Document BRDs, Change Requests, Impact Analysis following bank’s Change Delivery Standards
•    Facilitate collaboration between the business and CIO teams where required 
•    Deliver and manage end to end change management for the demands 
•    Assist Product Owner with demand prioritization along with the clear articulation of justification and background

Processes
•    Work with process team to ensure the processes are up to date inline with the changes 
•    Periodically review process maps and suggest improvement areas inline with the business strategy
•    Work with process and risk control owners to align the process updates 
•    Ensure As-Is vs To-Be process maps are clearly articulated, planned and managed with every change

Risk Management
•    Manage and escalate delivery risks to product owners 
•    Work closely with the CIO team to de-risk release / milestones
•    Understand how process change risks, operational risks impact and drive the business requirements 

Governance 
•    Ensure all artefacts delivered are in line with the bank Change delivery standards and policies 
•    Contribute to the refinement forum and ensure that the status, risks, issues are clearly reported 

Regulatory & Business Conduct 
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.] * 
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
•    Serve as a Director of the Board 
•    Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent) 

Key stakeholders
•    S&T COO, CRES Tech PO, CRES CIO team, Supply chain management, HR, Finance, Security and risk management teams 

Skills and Experience

Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO)

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering or Similar
•    At least 12 years of business analysis experience with preferable background in working on the technology projects
•    Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
•    Ability to work with range of stakeholders confidently.
•    Excellent presentation and communication skills
•    Strong knowledge of agile methodologies 
•    Proven ability in ADO, ADO dashboards and reporting
•    Strong ability to navigate across multiple teams located globally
•    Ability to work independently with minimal hand-holding and support
•    Preferably has a change management or project management background
•    Strong understanding of the change delivery standards and SDLC process
