The DLP Lead - Cloud and AI security will be responsible for designing, implementing and continuously modernize controls and governance process to prevent sensitive data leakage across AI-driven technologies and Cloud. This role will directly contribute to building trust in our AI-driven initiatives and enabling the business to adopt AI securely and at scale.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Develop data protection security patterns for AI use cases, ensuring sensitive data is adequately secured during training, inference, and retraining stages.
• Work closely with DLP engineering teams to extend existing endpoint, email, web and cloud DLP program to AI-enabled workflows.
• Partner with Data governance, privacy and AI platform team too embed DLP into AI/ML pipelines, data lakes and model operation (MLOps/LLMOps)
Business
• Closely work with CDO and business to understand the AI business use cases and ensure they adopt the security controls to operate securely and stay in compliant with standards.
Processes
• Conduct regular risk assessment on AI projects to identify and remediate data exposure risk.
• Partner with incident response and analytics teams to build AI and cloud specific data leakage threat use cases, playbooks, and purple teaming.
People & Talent
• Foster a culture of excellence, mentorship, and continuous learning within the team.
• Attract, retain, and develop top-tier talent in the field of AI security, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce.
• Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive environment to maximize team productivity and effectiveness.
• Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
• Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.
Risk Management
• Create operational plans and reports for business and functions in respect of AI security
• Regularly assess the risk landscape and adapt strategies to address new and existing threats.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and threats to the organization’s data.
• Provide consultation in support of status reporting to senior management, relevant working groups and Committees. Responsible for escalation of any material blockers and impediments in a timely manner.
• Be aware of, identify and escalate all risk issues and concentrations in accordance to the firm’s Group Information and Cyber Security Policy. Where appropriate, direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to Risk Committees.
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
• Monitor and analyse security incidents to improve response strategies.
