Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, and maintain Python applications focused on automation and security orchestration, ensuring high reliability and performance.
  • Contribute as a developer in generative AI projects, building secure, user-centric interfaces leveraging React and Angular frameworks.
  • Provide expert-level contributions as an individual contributor driving AI-enhanced security controls and processes.
  • Collaborate closely with backend and API teams to ensure security and scalability in microservices and cloud-native applications.
  • Design and review frontend components and database schemas, maintaining data integrity and security best practices.
  • Embed DevSecOps principles through comprehensive CI/CD pipelines, secure infrastructure as code, and continuous security monitoring.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for security architecture, threat modelling, and vulnerability management throughout development lifecycles.
  • Research and integrate emerging AI and cybersecurity innovations tailored to the banking sector’s unique needs.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to peers and junior engineers to foster a culture of security excellence and compliance awareness.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Python and Java -based web frameworks for secure development.
  • Experience with generative AI technologies and integration within enterprise applications.
  • Expertise in API design, backend development, and UI/ UX construction.
  • Skilled in frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Profound knowledge of cloud infrastructure management using AWS or Azure platforms.
  • Strong background in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices and automation engineering.
  • Deep understanding of security architecture principles and threat mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks including LangGraph, and experience in AI product automation (preferred).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Exposure to native AI technologies and banking domain expertise is beneficial.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Educational Background:
    A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a closely related discipline is required. Candidates with advanced degrees will have an advantage.
  • Professional Experience:
    A minimum of 12 years’ experience in technical roles focusing on software development, security engineering, or DevSecOps within complex, regulated environments is essential.
  • Professional Memberships:
    Membership or active involvement in professional bodies such as ISSA, ISACA, CSA, ISC2, or IAPP will enhance the application.
  • Certifications:
    Certifications that strengthen candidates’ profiles include but are not limited to CISSP, CISM, CIA, OSCP, CCSP, and CEH. These demonstrate commitment to continued professional development and mastery of relevant security disciplines.
  • Language Proficiency:
    Fluent proficiency in English is necessary for effective collaboration and documentation.
