Job Summary

The Corporate & Institutional Banking Channels Technology team within the Corporate and Institutional of Standard Chartered Bank is responsible for our digital customer experiences and interactions. The team delivers the core customer facing channels and distribution platform across all SCB business pillars and own / operate key customer data and process management platforms covering customer reference data, relationship management, analytics, marketing, research, on-boarding, and due diligence / transaction monitoring. The team is at the heart of SCB’s journey to improve our customer experience and increase the value derived from our interactions and data.

This is a unique opportunity to be in at the start of something new in Standard Chartered Bank. You will be leading the team to deliver the web based wholesale banking channels product. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
CIB Channels is a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects running concurrently. The nature of work is varied, and involving in technical design, development, co-ordinating with testing team, release management for production deployment. To be a trusted developer within CIB Channel, you will be expected to work closely with the wider team, and with business and technology stakeholders from all areas of the Bank, and be involved in at least two or three projects

•    Ensuring projects pass internal audits and reviews
•    Ensuring successful project implementation and minimal post implementation issues
•    Post project implementation reviews and alignment of project deliverable to measurable exit criteria for projects

Technology:
•    6-7 years of Software development experience 
•    Good knowledge on the SDLC and object-oriented architectural concepts
•    Strong SQL knowledge to query data base and familiarity with Oracle DB concepts
•    Strong Knowledge and experience in Core Java 8.0/Java17, Spring boot hands on
•     Experience in building, deploying and maintaining web-based technology
•    Experience in Agile Methodology and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment  
Personal:
•    Bachelor’s degree in related field (Preferred)
•    Experience in working in intercultural teams 
•    Excellent communications and interpersonal  skills, including facilitation techniques
•    A motivated individual with a great sense of responsibility
•    A work ethic of dependability through punctuality, flexibility, and adaptability to perform as an efficient, detail oriented team player
•    Holistic and incremental change skills
•    Ability to use an appropriate range of analysis and modelling techniques
•    Analytic, problem-solving and decision-making skills
•    Familiar with formal development methodologies 
•    Technical and design concepts around web-based applications
