Job Summary

•    The role exists to design, automate, and support DevOps and cloud engineering capabilities that improve release speed, reliability, and control.
•    It enables secure delivery across CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, container, security, and observability tooling in regulated banking environments.
•    It supports teams working across AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, ADO, Artifactory, and related platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•    Understanding and knowledge on Implementing automated testing platforms, unit tests, and CICD
•    Understanding and knowledge on code versioning tools, such as Git, Bitbucket,Azure devops
•    Understanding and knowledge on Security tools Sonarqube,Aqua,Nexus lifecycle.
•    Understanding of container platform, such as Docker and Kubernetes
•    Familiar and working experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform,ADO
•    Understanding and experience in working on Relation and non-Relation DBs (Postgres, Oracle, MongoDB)
•    An in depth understanding of Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud solutions and experienced in integrating public cloud into traditional hosting/delivery models with a specific focus on AWS
•    Understanding and experience on developing cloud native microservices using frameworks such as Python,Nodejs

Required:
•    Understanding of 3 tier and microservice architecture. Programming skills in, modern language like Java/Golang/Python
•    Background in various disciplines is essential, such as Development, Testing, Support, and Engineering.  Having a development background with infrastructure experience is an advantage
•    Significant knowledge of cloud technologies for design and build, both public and private.
•    A solid understanding of core infrastructure components: OS,network, storage, Database, Web
•    Knowledge of Virtualised environments required including docker/containerization

Our Ideal Candidate

•    Hands-on experience with automated testing, CI/CD, cloud platforms, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
•    Exposure to Azure, Splunk/Elastic Search, and Unix/Shell scripting is valuable.
•    Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
•    4-10 years of DevOps experience in a product or IT services organization
•    Professional certifications in cloud, microservices, container platforms, or Splunk are advantageous.
