Title: Director, Data Product Owner, FCSO Data & Reporting

Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Ownership
• Define and own the product Vision, roadmap and backlog for FCSO Data Products
• Prioritize features and capabilities that improve the data availability.
• Ensure alignment with FCSO strategy, regulatory obligations, and risk mitigation goals.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with FCSO operations teams, compliance, Risk, Tech, and senior management to capture data and reporting requirements.
• Act as the main liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Gather feedback and continuously iterate on product features.
Delivery Management
• Own the delivery lifecycle of data products; requirement gathering, user stories, grooming, acceptance criteria, UAT coordination and release.
• Ensure appropriate documentation, lineage and governance of FCSO data.
• Track and measure product outcomes .
Data Governance & compliance
• Ensure all data usage adheres to internal governance policies, confidentiality standards and external regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with data governance and controls teams to maintain strong data quality and traceability
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Key stakeholders
• FCSO Management Team & Ops teams, who provide the team priorities in terms of metrics to be reported and managed, requirements, objectives, and strategy.
• FCSO Data Tech Team, who Build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure including the solution architects who ensure scalable and complaint technical solutions.
• Upstream data teams, who provide the data used as sourcing.
• Downstream Process Owners, who depend on the data to perform their business function.
• Lead Product Owner/ Chief Product Owner - who set vision, prioritization strategy and roadmap alignment.
• Project Management Office (PMO) – to align with the overall program timelines and resource planning.
Other Responsibilities
• Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values in FCSO Data & MI India Team. Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats);
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s / master’s degree in data science, Business, Computer Science and related field
• 5+ years of experience in a data-centric role, including at least 2 years as a Product Owner or similar in a financial crime or compliance setting.
• Strong understanding of FCSO Processes (eg. Transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, Case Management)
• Experience with MI/reporting platforms, data warehousing, and data visualization tools (eg. Tableau, MSTR)
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum Framework and tools (eg: ADO, Confluence, etc)
• Languages-English
Skills and Experience
• Strong analytical and Problem Solving Skills
• Excellent Communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Sound Knowledge of data lifecycle, data architecture and data quality principles.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a regulated, fast paced environment
