Job Description: 

Key Responsibilities

•    Conducting deep dives and investigations to identify root causes for fraud events and enhancement of controls where required.
•    Assist in carrying out Peer reviews within country/ across regions to validate effectiveness of processes and controls.  
•    Implement business and IT data requirements through new data strategies and designs across all data platforms (relational, dimensional, and NoSQL) and data tools (reporting, visualization, analytics, and machine learning).
•    Work with business and application/solution teams to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual/logical/physical data models
•    Define and govern data modelling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development for enterprise data models.
•    Identify the architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces to data sources, tools supporting automated data loads, security concerns, analytic models, and data visualization Preparation of Lessons Learnt based upon various investigations undertaken.

 

Processes
•    Good knowledge with Business Intelligence tools and Decision Support Systems 
•    Strong data analysis skills using Hive , Spark , Python ,  R , Microstrategy and Tableau
•    Proven experience in working with key stakeholders within the business 
•    Proven problem solving skills 
•    8+ years of Proven Experience in Data Management and Data Quality Management techniques. 
•    Stakeholder Management / Analysis 
•    Presentation Skills – Data Story telling using visualisations is must 
•     Soft Skills - Communication/Negotiation/Relationship Building/Influencing

•    Establish data standards in terms of nomenclature, persistence technology selection, design and deployments
•    Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide data for ongoing dashboards / reports
•    Maintain the integrity of the MI Process with detailed review and data cleansing to ensure all data and reports are accurate, current, complete and consistent
•    Core technologies involved in the role: Data and BI

Key Requirements for the role:
•    Relevant business experience in operations, business analysis or project management.
•    Strong analytical skills, detail-focused with the ability to interpret large volume of information.
•    Problem solving skills with ability to influence across all levels of business.
•    Ability to independently drive initiatives with minimum hands-on supervision.
•    Knowledge in data transformation using ETL like Dataiku, python or similar tools and BI tools. 

Skills and Experience

•    Strong programming / coding skills in ETL tools like Python / Alteryx / Dataiku/ Excel /  MSTR/ SAS/ HIVE
•    Business Facilitation: Leading initiatives to improve Client experience, efficiency, and cost management  
•    Manage Conduct, Manage Risk and Manage Projects
•    Business Governance & Support: Projects investment governance, product, and process governance, etc
•    Information Systems - Applications & PC Skills

Qualifications

  • A university degree in Commerce, Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is required.
  • Strong experience and knowledge in ETL data platforms and business intelligence tools will be considered a significant advantage, underscoring the candidate's technical expertise.
  • The candidate should be capable of independently developing data transformation logic, contributing meaningfully to the design and deployment of scalable and efficient data solutions.
  • Additional professional certifications or formal training in data management, analytics, applied statistics, or related disciplines will be advantageous, reflecting a commitment to continuous professional development and mastery of the field.
