Technology and Architecture (TA) is responsible for providing application and Infrastructure services to all business lines within the bank namely CCIB, CPBB, Data and Global Functions. The Cloud function lies within TA and is responsible for engineering, building and supporting the Global IaaS and PaaS platforms for Public Cloud as well as Private Cloud in Standard Chartered’s footprints across the globe. The global team spans across the United Kingdom, India, Malaysia, China and Singapore.

We are looking for a Delivery Lead for leading and facilitating the delivery aspects, impediments, planning, risk, reporting, design workshops, contract & vendor onboarding due diligence will all stakeholders across the bank for all deliverables. Role has responsibility to drive the outcomes on time with high certainty, proactively manage risks and remediate any findings. Manage costs aspects in the platform delivery of both implementation and resource allocation. Promptly attend and resolve incidents or disruption. Ensuring that Standard Chartered cloud environments are consistent with Bank audit and compliance requirements and consistent with the design ethos. Focus all efforts against objective of Consistent, Secure and Resilient platform.

Key Responsibilities

Processes*

Track, report and drive delivery of initiatives, whilst optimising resources.
Provide Service Performance Reports at agreed schedule.
Anticipate issues to plan actions and preventions, ability to identify and recognise the root causes of problems, apply creative problem-solving, and own/drive improvements.
Improve operating processes, measure & track productivity, and coordinate organisational procedures for optimised efficiency.

Act quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness become apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and, if necessary, escalated through the relevant committees.
Governance *

Main contact point for all contract liaison including:
Ensuring compliance with SCBuy processes, contract management, periodic assessments.
Manage Statement of work orders with partners & vendors including ensuring smooth onboarding, tracking.
Understand and comply with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, and regulations, including those governing anti-money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanctions; the Group’s policies and procedures; and the Group Code of Conduct.
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters.
Embed the Group’s values and code of conduct to ensure that adherence with the highest standards of ethics, and compliance with relevant policies, processes, and regulations among employee’s form part of the culture.
Regulatory & Business Conduct *

Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Qualifications

TECHNOLOGY / PROCESS

Required - Excellent stakeholder management on Enterprise scale preferably utilising Amazon Web Services
Required - Project Management Professional (PMP/PMI) Certification to be in line with Project management standards in the bank.
Required - Proficient contract, vendor management to ensure smooth delivery of the services.
Required – Strong experience in planning and executing operations as well as new projects
Required - Expertise in developing and implementing Operational Governance framework
Required - ITIL orientated approach around deployment and infrastructure control on Enterprise level
Required - Cloud Technology knowledge to handle and run Change, Incident and Problem management
Strongly advantageous - Prior experience within large Financial Institution
Strongly advantageous - Successful data driven Continuous Service Improvement delivery
