JOB SUMMARY

  • Ideal candidate must have minimum 10+ years of IT experience and proven credentials of delivering in world class engineering teams. With a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent discipline, he/she must have relevant experience fulfilling responsibilities of the position. Must be a confident self-starter with ability to collaborate and devise solutions. Relevant industry certifications are an added plus.  Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks is required. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model appropriate to the role 

Business

  • Awareness and understanding of the Financial Markets environment in which the Group operates 

Processes

  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. 

People & Talent 

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
  • Min 10+ years of experience in software development and design.
  • Develop and maintain responsive, high performance web applications using the latest technologies like Lit Framework, GraphQL, etc.
  • Develop, test, and implement user interfaces in accordance with design specifications.
  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Ensure the quality of code through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
  • Exhibit passion for client experience with a user-first mindset

  • Collaborate with backend developers and UI/UX designers to improve usability.
  • Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Knowledge of Java & related technologies will be added advantage.
  • Knowledge of BPM workflow tools like Camunda, JBPM etc. will be added advantage.

  • Awareness and understanding of the Risk management framework in financial domain

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

 

Our Ideal Candidate
•    HTML or CSS, Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
•    JavaScript Strong understanding of JavaScript and its nuances, including ES6 syntax. Experience with a JavaScript frameworklibrary (e.g, React, Vue, Angular) is required. Experience with Lit Framework is an added advantage.
•    Responsive and Mobile Design Skills in creating flexible designs to create applications that work on various devices.
•    Version ControlGit Understanding of version control tools like Git.
•    Web Performance Optimisation Knowledge of optimizing website performance to improve load times.
•    Strong domain knowledge in banking industry
•    Strong working experience in designing and developing enterprise front end applications.
•    Knowledge on LinuxUnix environments
•    Extended expertise in deploying applications in the Cloud Infrastructure  i.e., AWS, Azure etc.
•    Knowledge on any of the usability testing tools
•    Problem Solving Ability to quickly troubleshoot issues and think critically.
•    Attention to Detail Keen attention to details for creating pixel perfect implementations. 
•    Learning Ability Keeping up to date with the latest web technologies and trends.
•    Time Management Ability to manage time efficiently, especially when working on multiple projects.
