Job Summary

As a Resilience Lead focused on CIB Technology Resilience in one of the leading Global Banks, you will closely work with the domain resilience leads on resilience planning and improve the resilience posture for CIB. This will include performing end to end resilience assessments for the critical applications and having a thorough understanding of resilience design, operational and service management processes, technical architecture, data resilience, testing activities and chaos engineering. Your primary objective is to help drive the CIB Technology Resilience agenda forward by providing able support and align the Resilience Standards.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    Awareness of the Group Technology Resilience standards. For external candidates, general awareness of the global Resilience standard

Business
•    Awareness and understanding of Technology Resilience controls like availability, failover, backup, restore and recovery. Also, understanding of IBS and ICS controls

Processes
•    Responsible for maintaining the Resilience posture of CIB by working along with CIB domain resilience lead

People & Talent
•    Ensure end to end resilience assessment is done for all CIB critical applications
•    Ensure that capacity planning is done for CIB applications
•    Ensure restore and recovery plans are available / renewed on time for CIB applications and the same tested successfully
•    Work with Technology resilience teams in propagating resilience standards / changes to the CIO domains
•    Closely monitor the CIB IBS Health indexes and mitigate any breache

Risk Management
•    Identify and mitigate any delays to timely review / renewal of capacity planning and restore & recovery planning and testing

Governance
•    To assist Technology Resilience domain teams in IBS mapping and in maintaining the IBS Health dashboard with timely inputs
•    Closely keep track of all capacity breaches and ensure timely mitigation / capacity revie

Qualifications

•    Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering Or Equivalent
•    Certifications: Desirable (Any Resilience Certification)
