Job Summary

Test Environment Management

•    Strategic Planning: Aligning test environment strategy with overall project goals and timelines. 
•    Environment Configuration: Ensuring test environments accurately replicate production environments. 
•    Resource Management: Allocating and scheduling environment usage to prevent conflicts and optimize resource utilization. 
•    Version Control: Maintaining the correct and latest versions of Operating systems, path updates, software, tools, and databases within the test environment, 
•    Security and Access Management: Protecting the integrity of the test environment, Data and managing user access. 
•    Continuous Monitoring: Monitoring the health and performance of the test environment to identify and address issues proactively. 
•    Collaboration: Working with development, Testing, and other teams to ensure the test environment meets their needs. 
•    Problem Resolution: Diagnosing and resolving issues related to the test environment. identify risks/issues associated with the release process and work along with the Trade Platform services, Release Managers and Trade Test Manager to record, prevent, and minimize potential disruptions to releases.
•    Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of test environment management processes

Key Responsibilities

Test Data Management: 

•    Data maintenance: Ensure Data is available & maintained accurately in each environment
•    Data Security & Protection: Ensure all Production data is masked & no sensitive data is exposed in the Test environments
•    Synthetic data usage: Reduce the dependency on Production data by preparing synthetic data using automation tools & loading the same into the target test environments

Regulatory & Business Conduct

•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
