Title: Lead Automation Engineer, Messaging Service

Job Summary
• We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer, Automation & Development to join the Bank’s Workplace Technologies team. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in software development and programming, with expertise in messaging-related technologies (Microsoft Exchange Server 2016, 2019, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Purview). This role requires a deep understanding of application development, front-end development, and API development, along with extensive experience in Office 365 SaaS-based products and on-premises solution design, engineering, and administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the development and implementation of self-service portals and automation to drive efficiencies and improve user experience.
• Design and develop software applications; experience in the following programming languages and database platforms is expected: Python, PowerShell, Visual Studio, Java, and Microsoft SQL database.
• Oversee front-end development and API design/development.
• Manage and maintain Office 365 environments, including Exchange Online, Security & Compliance, ATP, and Azure Active Directory.
• Design solutions for Exchange On-premises 2016/2019.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of messaging systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company's messaging solutions remain cutting-edge.
Processes
• Product Lifecycle Management: The Lead engineer is responsible for managing the product lifecycle, including monitoring End-Of-Support, and End-Of-Life stages. They must maintain the Invest, Contain, and Disinvest state of each product and update the product roadmap.
• Product Selection and PoC: The Lead engineer plays a crucial role in selecting relevant products for the bank and must be involved in the final decision-making process to ensure alignment with the bank's strategic direction.
• Workload Management: The Lead engineer is responsible for managing the workload to track deliverables, maintaining an Engineering Book of Work, and providing reporting information to management and other domains (e.g., key items delivered).
• Collaboration and Internal Training: The engineer provides expertise to internal groups on Messaging and Hybrid Cloud Products, documents, tracks, and mitigates relevant risks related to products, and works closely with the Bank's security teams to address security concerns.

Risk Management
• Manage all the Risk control and should be responsible for the audit and review the products owned by E-mail Engineering team.

Qualifications
• BACHELORS OR ENGINEERING OR MASTER’S DEGREE (INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATIONS, COMPUTER SCIENCE)
• CERTIFICATION IN RELEVANT TECHNOLOGIES (E.G., MICROSOFT CERTIFIED: AZURE SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT, MICROSOFT CERTIFIED: EXCHANGE SERVER, MICROSOFT CERTIFICATIONS IN AZURE/O-365 SOLUTIONS, MICROSOFT CERTIFICATIONS IN MESSAGING - MS-203
• STRONG DOCUMENTATION AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
• GOOD ANALYTICAL AND STRONG TECHNICAL SKILLS IN L3/L4 LEVEL TROUBLE SHOOTING.
• EXPERIENCE: 15+ YEARS (IT CONSULTANCY, SOLUTION DESIGN, ENGINEERING, SUPPORT, ADMINISTRATION)
• ARCHITECT LEVEL EXPERTISE AND SPECIALIZATION (LEVEL-300, LEVEL-400) IN FOLLOWING PRODUCTS
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• EXPERT PROFICIENCY IN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES: PYTHON, POWERSHELL, VISUAL STUDIO, MICROSOFT SQL DATABASE.
• IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT, FRONT-END DEVELOPMENT, AND API DEVELOPMENT.
• EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE WITH OFFICE 365 PRODUCTS AND ADMINISTRATION, INCLUDING EXCHANGE ONLINE, SECURITY & COMPLIANCE, ATP, AND AZURE ACTIVE DIRECTORY.
