Job Summary

Strategy
•    Focus and contribute to the delivery of the Group and TTO strategy, S25.
•    Understand business strategy, value proposition, client value proposition, income, revenue, cost, risk optimisation, capital implications, including risk return reward ratio.
•    Collaborate with senior leadership to align initiatives with the organization's strategic goals. 

Business
•    Run the automation agenda across Operations with a focus on core TP and workflow systems 
•    Conceive, prioritise, automation areas including benefits versus costs review. 
•    Manage engagements with the T&I teams to enable delivery of the objectives.
•    Manage projects for the above in relation to QPR requirements and end to end governance thereof.
•    Deliver on the agenda for Continuous Improvements
•    Cost Management and benefits management
•    Manage costs within Budgets/Forecasts/ PEDs and spends for automation. 
•    Manage cost benefit analysis for automation opportunities including engaging with automation partners.
•    Monitor cost trends / unit cost to serve and identify opportunities for reducing the same through automation and other initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Processes
•    Manage projects for the above in relation to project governance requirements and end to end governance thereof. 
•    Assure that project governance is in place, monitor adherence to the methodology, support
Project Managers in all PMO aspects and ensure that the delivery lifecycle is adhered to.
•    Be a management representative and execute to the management guidelines through
continuous intervention and management reporting, including escalations to management.
•    Work with internal stakeholders and key leadership managements in all aspects of governance
and P&L accounting.
•    Deliver high quality reporting to project stakeholders senior management and clients.
•    An understanding of Retail Banking products and services. 
•    Keeps up to date with changes to banking & technology products.

People & Talent
•    Groom and support colleagues working on the project.

Risk Management
•    Analyses, interprets, and monitors operations risk and suggests mitigation techniques to reduce such risk.
•    Check inherent risk of product and process in the operating environment and demonstrate support for the internal program through behaviour, presentations, and discussions.
•    Able to identify early warning signals and to initiate remedial action. 
•    Able to anticipate and detect fraud and take preventive measures keeping the global fraud environment in mind.  
•    Establish prevention and detection internal controls with an end-to-end perspective (from transaction to customer), which address potential risks of inefficiency, ineffectiveness, fraud, abuse, or mismanagement. 
•    Use of internal/external audit findings to further improve service excellence.
•    always Promote & enable a culture of audit readiness to ensure no failed audits.
•    Instructs others in operations risk assessment and monitoring.

Governance
•    Ensure adherence to the governance requirements laid down under the project.
