Key Responsibilities
Business
• Work with the Project/Reporting lead in delivering the various CTIR/CRS commitments on the agreed timelines.
• Focus on the areas assigned for delivery, learn the activities and disseminate the knowledge on existing as well as ongoing changes happening in the FATCA/CRS processes in an organized manner to the rest of the team members and bring them up to speed to perform the activities.
• To gain detailed understanding of the FATCA/CRS reporting process and become an SME.
• To meet the timelines of all FATCA/CRS Deliverables without any deviation as there is a regulatory expectation in meeting the timelines by planning the activities/deliverables and assign them to the team accordingly.
• Provide the necessary updates to stakeholders/Project working groups on a regular basis.
• Engage in a positive and pro-active stakeholder management
• Interact with Key Project team members/stakeholders to understand Regulatory Impact / Changes
• Work with the project team in getting all the required documentation work completed.
• Keep operating instructions’ documents up to date.
• Ongoing tracking / monitoring of data quality exceptions identified during the reporting process.
• Provide support to project deliverables on the on-going changes and automation initiatives as necessary.
Processes
• Identify opportunities to remove process waste, engage in standardisation of various reporting packs and encourage, drive and support automation initiatives thereby reduce / remove the non-value adds in the process.
• Establish robust control and governance on the process
• Drive productivity and achieve cost efficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive a culture to capture appropriate metrics for tracking actual hours/ standard hours/ errors etc
• Ensure detailed documentation and it is up to date for all processes
People & Talent
Manage, coach, develop and engage a team of high performing individuals.
Governance
Targets and Budgets
• Ownership of the assigned budget and management of across the reporting team
• Ensure all queries for submitted reports are reverted within timelines.

• Serve as a Director of the Board
• Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)
Qualifications
• Degree qualified with a preference in a Business, Finance, Accountancy, Law or Taxation from a reputed institution with 8+ years’ experience.
• Strong process & data analysis skills, ability to prioritise and manage work to defined time lines / budgets;
• Proven ability to work within a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders;
• Confident and capable user of Micro Soft applications like Excel, Word, MPP. SQL knowledge is preferable.
• Ability to think laterally and critically, challenge status-quo and demonstrate innovative thinking;
• Good working knowledge of international banking products, systems and/or processes including a previous work experience in any data warehouse infrastructure is highly preferable;
• Previous experience of regulatory reporting project would be an advantage
