Processes
Role Responsibilities – Client Data & Fees Management
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services by meeting or exceeding customer expectations, in line with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs), accuracy standards, and sound business judgment.
Operational Management & Processing
• Receive and monitor instructions via systems (e.g., SSTM) and act on them with appropriate prioritization.
• Monitor and process all team activities as per daily checklists and country-agreed standards, ensuring adherence to turnaround times (DOI/SLA).
• Ensure all necessary approvals and valid instructions are in place for account creation, modification, closure, and manual revenue reversals.
Client Data & Static Maintenance
• Maintain and update Standing Instruction trackers, including email recipient lists, auto-debit lists, and manual handling records.
• Perform daily monitoring of audit confirmations and account searches.
• Ensure accurate and timely updates to client data and system records.
Fees Management & Financial Operations
• Monitor receipt of fees, oversee manual tracking of auto-debits, and ensure proper application in relevant systems.
• Prepare outstanding bills (fortnightly or as per DOI) and share with CPC or relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and post entries for payments to spokes, third-party agents, and reimbursements as per DOI.
• Ensure timely creation of all OPE charges in the system before month-end.
• Perform variance analysis and reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Reporting & Invoice Management
• Prepare and dispatch reports and invoices in line with DOI/SLA requirements.
• Amend or revise invoices/reports based on investigations or instructions from CPC or authorized stakeholders and regenerate them in the system.
• Provide timely End-of-Day (EOD) confirmations to CPC, Payments, and internal teams, ensuring all pending items are tracked and communicated.
Reconciliation & Controls
• Monitor GRU reports daily and provide match advice for Receivable, Prepaid, Suspense, and Nostro accounts.
• Ensure adherence to all control requirements, audit standards, and documentation practices.
Stakeholder & Team Management
• Respond to queries from country, support services, and internal teams in a timely and accurate manner.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships between GBS and CPC.
• Drive team performance, ensure cross-training, and establish adequate process backups for smooth operations.
Process Governance & Continuous Improvement
• Ensure DOIs, checklists, SLAs, and Desktop Procedures are regularly reviewed, updated, and effectively communicated to the team.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and process efficiency.
• Actively participate in organizational quality initiatives and support achievement of expected outcomes.
Risk & Compliance
• Ensure full compliance with group policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and code of conduct (including C3 standards).
• Uphold organizational values and maintain high standards of integrity and control at all times.
Strong Project Management and Automation Skills
• Demonstrates excellent project coordination and automation capabilities.
• Possesses strong project handling skills with a proactive focus on automation and process improvement.
• Effectively manages projects and drives automation initiatives to improve efficiency and controls.
• Shows strong ownership in project delivery and automation implementation, contributing to operational excellence.

• Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model appropriate to the role.
• Contribute towards the future strategic direction and process innovation of Securities Services by keeping abreast of changes in customer needs, technology and business environment and taking pro-active steps to embrace and capitalize on these changes.
• Support the roll-out of appropriate quality management systems and other initiatives by the Company/Group.
Business
• Supervise and manage the daily activities of Client Data Management and Fees Management in line with established procedures. Support the development and enhancement of CDM and Fees Management systems to meet country, business, and client needs. Implement divisional quality initiatives in line with the Group’s Quality System. Carry out specific duties assigned by team management in accordance with relevant procedures, guidelines, instructions, and standards to meet productivity and service expectations.

• Ensure that all staff of the department continues to be equipped and developed with the necessary knowledge, skills and tools to achieve the required level of competency to facilitate them to perform their roles and responsibilities effectively, efficiently and accurately.
Risk Management
• Be guided accordingly and aware of the roles and responsibilities for money laundering prevention as stipulated in the Money Laundering Prevention (MLP) Group Policy, Money Laundering & Suspicious Transaction Guidelines for Securities Services Management, Suspicious Money Laundering Transaction Reporting Procedures and / or Monitoring Checklist, and Escalation Procedure for Suspicious Money Laundering Transactions

• Ensure awareness and full compliance of all laid down rules, regulations, policies, (including Sanctions Policy) guidelines, procedures, practices and code of conduct imposed by the Company/Group.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

Skills and Experience
Client Data Management & Maintenance
• Expertise in account opening, amendments, SSI maintenance, and account closure
• Strong validation and governance of client static data across systems (e.g., Seccure)
• Ensures data accuracy and completeness across lifecycle stage
Data Governance & Data Quality Control
• Application of data governance policies, privacy rules, and internal standards
• Identification and resolution of data quality issues
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal data standard
Fees Management & Billing Operations
• Invoice preparation, fee calculation, validation, and dispatch
• Handling revenue adjustments, variance analysis, and auto-debits
• Understanding of pricing structures and client billing cycles (EOM, SLA timelines)
• Coordination with business for fee approvals and dispute resolution
Custody Operations & Securities Processing Knowledge
• Understanding of custody services, settlement lifecycle, and securities processing
• Knowledge of contractual settlement setups and related static data controls
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge (KYC / AML / Tax)
• Awareness of KYC, AML, and tax reporting requirements
• Handling tax forms, TIN/VAT validation, and regulatory data updates
• Ensuring compliance during onboarding and data maintenance
Financial Data Analysis & Reconciliation
• Ability to interpret financial data, billing reports, and discrepancies
• Supporting reconciliation of fees, invoices, and postings
• Root cause identification for variances and exceptions
Process Automation & Systems Handling
• Working knowledge of systems like Seccure, workflow tools, and automation initiatives (ADO-driven enhancements)
• Supporting automation of fee calculations, validations, and reporting
• Identifying process improvement opportunities
MIS Reporting & Advanced Excel / Data Handling
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivots, data analysis)
• Preparation of MIS, dashboards, and operational reports
• Ability to track volumes, SLA adherence, and productivity metrics
Stakeholder & Query Management (Technical Context)
• Handling client, country, and internal team queries on data and fees
• Explaining technical/billing issues clearly to stakeholders
• Coordinating across regions (APAC, AME, etc.) for resolution
Risk, Control & Audit Compliance
• Adherence to operational controls, audit requirements, and KCSA standards
• Ensuring proper documentation and audit trail for all data/fee changes
• Managing escalations and implementing corrective actions
