Job Summary
Strategy
- Knowledge in the payment processing platform with payment processing flows.
- Experience in implementing BDD using selenium Cucumber for test automation.
- Required Technical Skill
- Core Java, Jenkins CI/CD, Maven, Selenium, Cucumber, RestAPI, JSON, GIT Hub.
- MAVEN, Git, Jenkins, Docker, ADO
- Good knowledge in Banking domain especially payments.
- Good knowledge in Testing and Agile Methodology
- Good knowledge in shell scripting & Unix commands
- creating Gherkin feature file in cucumber framework
- hands on experience on Xpath, CSS Expressions to identify dynamic objects
- Apache POI for reading and writing data from the Excel file for data driven concept.
- Should have knowledge in reading and writing JSON, XML, Txt,swift and excel.
- Good Knowldege in Swift, Fin MT messages and MX messages.
- Knowledge of clearing platforms like, FED, CHP and US ACH
- Understanding of EU clearing platforms such as Target, SEPA, EBA etc.
- Understanding of UK FPS, BACS, CHAPS clearing.
- Understanding of Swift annual released and GPI mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities
Business
- Ensure risks/issues are captured for all projects and ensure that any changes to milestone deliverables (scope, due date etc.,) have been approved by relevant PWG/PSC/PRC
- Mitigation of risks and resolution of issues in a timely manner including developing suitable controls and measuring their effectiveness
- Adopt DevOps in all the projects
- Create Test automation frameworks from scratch
- Automation testing with Cucumber for payments/clearing application
- Prepare the Automation Test Strategy and roadmap for the area.
- Plan and execute activities in relation to Test Scripting, preparation and execution
- Communicate to stakeholders on the Test Status, risks and issue resolution
Processes
- Mitigate risks to business through timely and precise execution of test cases in testing
- Work closely with Product owner, Scrum Master and Sprint Team
- Retest defects after fixes. Under moderate supervision execute tests to ensure that information systems and services meet group standards and end-user requirements
- Follow the test process and continuously improve the quality of the test process
- Identify issues in requirements, design specifications and product documentation
- Document software product defects and track it to closure
- Reverse engineer requirements and develop models as needed to support test automation
- Write accurate defect reports, facilitate problem resolution, and verify fixes
- Liaise with stakeholders to publish and announce status reports
- Ensure environment readiness and sanity check before start of UAT
- Conduct reviews / inspections of project and test deliverables and provide feedback
- Contribute to define & Document test procedures and policies.
People & Talent
- Well versed with Java, Selenium, BDD framework, API testing, JSON format and Rest Services testing
- Perform functional and technical test execution activities as per testing team engagement level in the project.
- Perform testing in Agile methodology delivery.
- Plan, analyse, design, prepare in Sprint Automation scripts and execute within the Sprint
Risk Management
- Ensure all the SDF Templates followed on all the Test Deliverables.
- QA Review / TDA / Internal / External Audit controls should be maintained in central repository
- Document all the RAID details in the Test Strategy with appropriate Mitigation plan.
Governance
- Deliver projects within cost, schedule & quality
- Take a proactive approach save effort and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with the stakeholders to drive through initiatives
- Drive initiatives and impress on key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance to UTM and SDF models
