Job Summary

Due to increasing demand to deliver high quality employee experience solutions for our Business, we are looking for a UI/UX Designer within Functions Technology
If you have strong passion in helping Business to discover their user’s journey and translating it to simple, effective, and elegant solution, then we want you to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    You are expected to collaborate closely with both Business and Technology teams and be responsible for conducting user and stakeholder research activities including user interviews, ideation sessions, usability studies and other user research techniques to create a human-centred design approach and solution to the business needs

Business
•    Collaborating with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.

Processes
•    Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering (process flows, sketches, scenarios, wireframes, navigation models, visual design).
•    Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.

People & Talent
•    Collaborate with the Product Management teams and share learnings with wider designer communities within SCB.

Risk Management
•    Identify any risks or concerns with the design/requirements timely

Governance
•    Work with alignment to SCB branding and marketing strategies where required

•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Skills and Experience

•    Obsessed with good user-centred design practices and are detail-oriented.
•    Mobile and responsive web UI design skill is essential.
•    Must have a strong UI/UX design portfolio.
•    Solid experience in creating process flows, sketches, scenarios, wireframes, navigation models and visual design.
•    Must be able to present your idea creatively and effectively.
•    Must be up-to-date with latest UI trends, technologies and design practices.

Qualifications

Education           Bachelor’s degree in Graphic/Digital Design.
Certifications     Human Centred Design Certification preferred
Languages         English
Others
•    5+ years of design experience with at least 1-2 lived product.
•    Proficient in design tools (e.g. Figma, Canva, SketchApp, Photoshop, Illustrator, inVision, Axure, etc)
•    User research, usability testing and prototyping knowledge.
•    Experience working in Agile Product Delivery process.
•    Experience with DesignOps is a plus.
