Job Summary

•    This role will be part of the Standard Chartered S&T Data Services team and will report into the AVP-HR Business Solutions – UAT Lead.  
•    The Supply Chain Management Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of supply chain management systems through rigorous testing processes. This role involves executing the test scripts basis test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain processes, testing methodologies, and a keen eye for detail.
•    This role will work closely with the bank technology team (TTO) and external partners to ensure and influence the implementation of the highest process workflows standards and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning and Design:
o    Develop comprehensive WalkMe test plans and test cases based on functional, non-functional and technical requirements.
o    Create detailed test scripts for various supply chain management scenarios.
o    Identify and prepare test data required for testing activities.
o    Write test cases based on the requirements and executes them.
o    Prepare data constructs to support testing activities.
o    Execute end to end scenarios testing (including any output file validation as needed for data field integration to other systems)
o    Raise defects discovered during testing and work with impacted teams to resolve issues.
o    Support UAT Tester for any User queries, help in Defect Triaging and Test Management for UAT

Strategy
•    Works with SCM ITO to plan/ negotiate/ prioritise the SCM changes for delivery/ execution based on SCM Stakeholders/ GPS unit heads requirements.
•    Works with SCM Unit Heads, and other key SCM Stakeholders members to enable SCM functional strategy through technology, globally.  

Business
•    Manage conflicts in stakeholder expectations, employee experience and HR good practice in process solution design across multiple workstreams.
•    Understand risks, business imperatives and business context when facilitating decision making impacted by the process re-design, create solution options, and make recommendations.
•    Present clear options and recommendations, facilitate decision making and enable clear understanding in key stakeholders of risks, outcomes, and trade-offs.

Processes
Test Execution:
o    Should have experience in testing background for a minimum of 6 years in SCM.
o    Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on supply chain management systems.
o    Execute manual and automated tests to validate system functionality and performance.
o    Record and track defects using defect management tools, ensuring accurate documentation.
o    Tester should have knowledge in the applications SLP / MDG / Ariba / VIM / S4 Hana (MM/AP)
o    Should also have knowledge in E2E flow from Supplier creation to Payment to Supplier.
Collaboration and Communication:
o    Work closely with developers, business analysts, and supply chain teams to understand system requirements and functionalities.
o    Communicate test results, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
o    Participate in project meetings and provide input on test-related matters.
Quality Assurance:
o    Ensure that supply chain management systems meet quality standards and business requirements.
o    Perform root cause analysis on identified defects and recommend corrective actions.
o    Validate fixes and enhancements to ensure they meet the specified requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
o    Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
o    Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
o    Provide training and support to junior testers and other team members as needed.

•    Ensure that Risk Management matters that are brought to the job holder’s attention are subject to direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to the appropriate Risk Committees

•    Awareness of need to execute projects with strong focus on process excellence and business requirements to ensure that stakeholders expectations are met
•    Attention to detail and ability to manage various data points to achieve a common goal (customer experience, operating model standards, system performance and functionalities).

Skills and Experience

•    Ability to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
•    Proficiency in documenting test results and reporting defects.
•    Proficiency in using test automation tools like Selenium, QTP, TestComplete, etc
•    Familiarity with defect tracking tools like ADO, JIRA, etc
•    Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
•    Proven experience in software testing, preferably within supply chain management systems.
•    Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and systems.
•    Proficiency in testing tools and software such as Selenium and ADO.
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
•    Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
•    Certification in Software Testing (ISTQB) or Supply Chain Management (CSCP).
•    Experience with ERP systems such as SAP and Ariba.
•    Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and scripting languages.
•    Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
