Job Summary

This senior engineering role warrants extensive technical development and devops skills to manage software development and support for suite of vendor and in-house products in Cash Management area. Prior experience in Liquidity Management domain is added advantage.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • 9+ years’ experience in Java-J2EE Development
  • Extensive technical experience and development expertise in Core Java, J2EE, Spring & Spring Boot, Hibernate
  • Good Knowledge in Oracle, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Added advantages if know Jasper and Kafka
  • Basic Knowledge in AWS Cloud.
  • Knowledge on code versioning tools, such as Git, Bitbucket
  • Knowledge on Implementing automated testing platforms, unit tests.
  • Excellent application system design and development skills 
  • Experience on developing cloud native microservices using frameworks such as Spring boot, Spring cloud.
  • Excellent knowledge of J2EE architecture/design patterns, Object Oriented Design methodologies, SOA, data modelling techniques and SOAP. 
  • Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment and learn new concepts / software technologies as needs arise. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, and a responsible team-player
  • Knowledge on JASPER report framework will be an advantage.
  • The ability to communicate effectively - both verbally and in writing.

Strategy

  • Understanding and comply with Group & TTO strategy 

Business

  • To understand Cash business and wok towards achieving the goals of Cash Management and T&I objectives
  • Functional knowledge on Cash management / Payments / Liquidity / Account Services / Escrow is added advantage.

Processes

  • Adhere to the standard Technology and governance process.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered in Agile methodology.
  • Contribute in functional verification / testing to ensure business requirements are met 
  • Be part of the team by closely working with Scrum masters and squad members to deliver quality end-to-end solution, including reviewing of other interface functional specifications and external parties’ specifications.
  • Author and deliver user stories in BDD format.
  • Collaborate with entire team as part of the Agile squad to deliver comprehensive changes to our internal/external business.
  • Build strong relationship / rapport with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
  • Perform impact assessment on existing processes/functions based on new requirements.
  • Work with the technical teams for overall solution in line with group policies and procedures
  • Work with the product owners to groom and prepare User stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Contribute in technical initiatives & play a techno functional SME
  • Lead the team, groom & nurture them to be fit for future.
