Job Description: 

Job Summary

•    Seeking an experienced Platform Architect with 7 – 10 years of experience in coding and designing high-scale platforms. The incumbent work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, business stakeholders, compliance, and external vendors to ensure timely and successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•    Platform Design: Architect a secure, scalable, and high-availability digital-assets platform.
•    Integration: Seamlessly integrate custody, multi-chain networks, wallet operations, and orchestration.
•    Messaging Patterns: Implement reliable messaging patterns including queues, retries, DLQ, and replay mechanisms.
•    Performance & Reliability: Ensure observability, disaster recovery (DR), failover, and predictable performanceat scale.
•    Automation & Operations: Develop automation, runbooks, exception handling, and operational guardrails.
•    Stakeholder Communication: Simplify complex digital asset concepts for stakeholders.
•    Collaboration: Partner with Business Analysts and Product Business lines to develop and build secure, resilient, and scalable systems.
•    Client Experience: Exhibit a passion for enhancing client experience.
•    Interdependencies: Address and solve potential interdependencies between platforms and systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
•    Distributed Systems: Strong background in distributed systems, microservices, and high-scale platforms.
•    Design & Coding: Proficiency in design skills and hands-on experience with Java.
•    Blockchain & Custody: Understanding of blockchain technology, custody models, and wallet operations.
•    Event-Driven Architecture: Experience with event-driven flows and resilient APIs.

•    Must adhere to GCOC
•    Must own and contribute to Test Strategy Document
