Job Summary
The Product specialist is part of the Standard Chartered HR Transformation team and will report into the Head HR Transformation and Enablement Lead role. Bachelor's degree with 8+ years relevant experience as Product specialist. Preferably SAP Certified in HCM module
Analyse business requirements provided by our SMEs, develop design specifications, mock-up, user stories and other system-related information, which should be “developer ready” spec documentation.
Experience working with SMEs and transforming high-level business requirements into detailed design and build specifications.

• Proven problem solving and analytical thinking and ability to approach problems logically and systematically.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle, including production change control.
• Project management skills as needed.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to bridge functional and technical resources by communicating effectively with individuals of varying systems expertise and business needs.

Experience working in an Agile methodology.
Experience acting as liaison between operations and developers ensuring proper documentation of systems functions and capabilities and facilitating the proper knowledge transfer to the developers.
A good understanding of HR policies and process flows Project management experience preferred Knowledge of HR technologies like experience in Workday / SAP SuccessFactors / Oracle HCM etc.. is added advantage.

- Lead and coordinate with business and technical owners to identify improvement areas, evaluating the potential for automating existing or proposed work functions or processes in alignment with the HCM solution.

- Resolve issues and assist others with "how to" questions.
- Ability to accurately estimate the required effort and duration required to complete a given estimate
- Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines.
On a daily basis, you will be working with SMEs and other teams to understand the business requirement to resolve critical business problems.

Governance
• Ensure HR Services deliver effective management of operational risks in compliance with applicable internal policies, external laws and regulations at a global level.
• Act to minimise operational loss and audit failures and take proactive measures to respond to matters arising, identify and manage forward looking risks.
• Embed the Group’s values and code of conduct across the team and larger function.
• Ensure that Risk Management matters that are brought to the job holder’s attention are subject to direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to the appropriate Risk Committees

Qualifications
- GRADUATE OR POST GRADUATE FROM RECOGNISED UNIVERSITY SPECIALISED IN HUMAN RESOURCES
- SAP CERTIFICATION
- HCM MODULE
- Backlog management and priortisation in ADO
