Key Responsibilities

Regulatory & Business Conduct
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles 
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
•    Serve as a Director of the Board 
•    Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Associatio

•    Regulators for Stress testing.

Qualifications

•    Education: Bachelor’s In Computer Engineering Or Equivalent
•    Languages: Python, Sql, Shell 

Skills and Experience

•    5+ Years of experience 
•    Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Hadoop Ecosystem
•    Write Efficient PySpark jobs to process large-scale datasets.
•    Design and Implement Hive-based data Models.
•    Develop and Support ETL workflows using python.
•    Knowledge on Unix/Linux
•    Work closely with data analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
•    Perform data validations, quality checks, and performance tuning of Spark and Hive queries.
•    Monitor and troubleshoot HDFS storage issues, job failures in distributed environment.
•    Collaborate in Agile teams, follow best practices for version control and deployment (e.g. Git, CI/CD)
•    Hand on experience in any of the scheduling tools or Control-M
