Job Summary

•    Min 7+ years of exp in software development and design.
•    Strong analytical and problem solving
•    In depth experience in architecture and solution design
•    High-level knowledge on Service Oriented, Microservices and Cloud native architecture implementations
•    Experience on UI design principles (ex: Grid systems) and UI/UX design patterns.
•    Web services, API design, Defining Specification using swagger/RAML.
•    Exhibit hands-on on various Non-Functional Requirements implementation
•    Strong experience in common and reusable components/services development
•     Performance and Throughput measures
•    Independently contribute to design and development of solutions
•    Collaborate with BA and interfacing teams in common controls developments, prototyping
•    Improve code quality statistics, participate/drive code reviews and continuously reduce technical debt
•    Collaborate with teams globally to deliver, present ideas and innovate
•    Model behaviours that facilitate Agile delivery 
•    Knowledge on usability testing tools.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

• Experienced practitioner and hands on contribution to the squad delivery for their craft (Eg. Engineering). 
• Responsible to evolve the craft towards improving automation, simplification and innovative use of latest market trends.

• Ensure work is delivered as per the required business objectives
• Work with the Product owner and team to enable business objectives to be met

• Manage the lifecycle of products or services, ensuring governance is maintained and aligned with the group's framework.

• Work collaboratively within the team and be a team player with focus to deliver individual and team objectives

Risk Management

• Actively identify proactive risk identification and management, establishing a vigilant culture that anticipates and addresses issues swiftly. 
• Coordinate risk escalation and participate in resolution processes, ensuring timely understanding the root cause.

• Exemplify and promote adherence to the group's values and code of conduct, ensuring all activities comply with regulatory and ethical standards. 

Skills and Experience

• knowledge of user interface models, application design, and website functionality
• In-depth knowledge on REST services, JSON, HTML, CSS , JavaScript
• Knowledge on Front-end  frameworks:
• Bootstrap,Foundation Materialize
• Hands-on knowledge on JS libraries such as React JS with implementation experience using PCF controls
• -Knowledge of UI design principles ex: Grid systems.
• Strong domain knowledge in in banking industry
• Strong working experience in designing and developing enterprise applications front end
• Knowledge  in containerization technologies - Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge on Linux/Unix environments
• Understanding on tools like Jenkins/Go-CD, Git/Stash, JIRA, Maven
• Extended expertise in deploying applications in the Cloud Infrastructure - i.e., AWS, Azure etc.
• Knowledge on  Azure devops.
• Knowledge on any of the usability testing tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent discipline, he/she must have relevant experience fulfilling responsibilities of the position
