Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Must be able to design and develop solutions for new requirements, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
- Responsible for working across the development, testing and entire SDLC lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
- Analyse and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business processes.
Business
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand the requirements, drive new engagements and ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Devops and production support to achieve project objectives.
Processes
- Should follow SCB SIA Controls, compliance standards and other organizational processes to ensure secure and quality delivery.
People & Talent
- A team player with positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to mentor and guide team members fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.
Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with project delivery, ensuring compliance with SCB risk management framework.
- Proactive monitor and address security vulnerabilities and operational risk during development & deployment.
Governance
- Ensure all deliverables align with organizational policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
- Serve as a Director of the Board
