Job Description: 

Job Summary

Location : Chennai / Bangalore

•    Support the Head, Credit Risk Reporting in overseeing Group and Country WRB credit risk reporting, ensuring management and regulatory MI is timely, accurate and complete.
•    Provide senior subject-matter expertise across credit risk metrics, reporting definitions, data lineage, controls, portfolio analysis and reporting change.
•    Drive simplification, automation, standardisation, data quality and self-service reporting improvements across Risk, Finance, Business, GBS, Technology, Data and Country teams.

Key Responsibilities

•    Support oversight of BAU WRB credit risk reporting and MI, ensuring outputs are delivered on time with appropriate quality, analysis and stakeholder context 
•    Translate senior management, business and regulatory requirements into effective reporting outputs and provide SME input on metrics, definitions, reporting logic and portfolio trends.
•    Maintain effective reporting calendars, documentation, issue logs, control checks, reconciliations and evidence of review
•    Support operational risk compliance, audit engagements, BCBS 239 alignment and related data-governance requirements; identify and address process and control gaps.
•    Operate as a senior individual contributor with no direct people-management responsibility, influencing through expertise, collaboration and stakeholder engagement
•    Provide technical guidance, SME support and knowledge sharing to reporting analysts, GBS partners and Country teams as Individual contributor and capability building
•    Coordinate recurring issues, ad-hoc requests and reporting changes across Risk, Finance, Business, GBS, Technology, Data and Country teams.
•    Represent or support WRB Credit Risk Reporting in relevant forums, working groups and strategic initiatives.
•    Stakeholder coordination and issue management
•    Identify and execute opportunities to rationalise, automate and standardise BAU reporting, including transition of suitable activities to GBS
•    Support requirements definition, impact assessment, UAT, transition-to-BAU and post-implementation review for reporting and data initiatives

Qualifications

Key Experiences
•    8+ years of experience in credit risk reporting, risk data, MI, analytics, regulatory reporting, risk operations or related disciplines.
•    Strong understanding of WRB credit risk metrics, reporting processes, data definitions, controls, data governance and portfolio analysis.
•    Experience in reporting automation, dashboards, data quality, process improvement, change delivery and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
Certifications/Qualifications
•    Risk related or Python / BI tooling related certifications preferrable
