Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Processes

  • A Team player in P2P Group FP&A Analytics team managing key balance sheet / RWA and Metrics reporting / analytics to wider business teams. Group Board and Management Team. 
  • Manage delivery of assigned reporting for Group FP&A. Ownership of end to end process from understanding to delivering key reporting requirements
  • Provide key support in important deliverables in CFO report, MBR and Key management deliverables.
  • Support Planning / forecasting processes with insight into business performance drivers including identifying Risk and opportunities. 
  • Work closely with London and Singapore based FP&A teams to coordinate deliverables, ad hoc requests and communication with business finance teams. 
  • Continuously querying country and reaching out to them in understanding the movement and add more business sense to the outcome.
  • Co-ordinate with Business finance / UK solo team / BSO teams and other related teams.
  • This role requires strong understanding of current financial and business performance drivers across all businesses and regions of the Group through regular engagement with business finance teams.
  • Driving Digital Initiatives and improve the current reporting.
  • Had to work on Enhance F Reporting, understanding in-depth, Analyse and Assess the impact to our day to day reporting and implement the same

  • Having good knowledge across various reporting system and understand the key impact.
  • Initiate regular briefing and knowledge sharing within team across locations on business performance themes.

Controls

  • Manage overall design and outcome of the end-to-end process and own the process output performance in terms of client service, financial performance and risk where appointed as Process Owners
  • Implement appropriate internal controls and operating risk management / monitoring processes and procedures for ensuring integrity of performance reporting and compliance with related group policies / standards

Our Ideal Candidate

  • A experienced finance professional with relevant experience in Banking / Financial Services industry.
  • Preference to candidates who are experienced in Tableau dashboards build and good to have knowledge on Dataiku. These are preferable but optional.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products and good understanding of Balance Sheet and RWA.
  • Working knowledge of OBIEE (PMI/RMI), Hyperion (MRC/ HP / HPCM), SAP BPC, Financial Analytics.
  • Strong integrity and ability to challenge the views of others in a constructive manner.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to manage different stakeholders through active engagement and partnership
  • A resilient and confident self-starter with well-developed communication & inter-personal skills

Risk Management

  • Coordinating, driving and directing effective compliance by embedding an effective Risk Management Framework (RMF) & Process Universe to ensure all areas manage operational risks in a proactive, risk based and disciplined manner.
  • Ensure proper functioning of day-to-day controls, by performing periodic assessment and monitoring activities (CST & KCI) as well as timely identification, escalation and resolution of risk issues
  • Ensure compliant with Operational Risk policies, procedures, and applicable 
  • To provide a focal point of control over the aggregate level of operational risk in the functions that arises from end to end processes, including the design of effective controls and the systematic monitoring of process control effectiveness.
  • To exercise direct Risk Control Ownership / Process owner for Operational Risk and ensure risks of processing failure are being actively controlled on an end-to-end basis

Governance

  • Regular face off with Traders, Product Control Management, Regional finance team and various internal stakeholders within GFS.
  • Act as a point of reference for team members and internal clients.
  • Manage relationship with internal stakeholders, take regular feedback, anticipate and understand issues and escalate appropriately for timely resolution
  • Manage strong relationship with support teams (IT, Operations and Risk) and bring synergies by interacting and integrating with cross functional teams

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
