JOB SUMMARY
The Release Management Specialist will be a key member of Trade Release Management team and responsible for delivering smooth release and mapping business requirements to systems/technical design. The role holder will form a key part of a fast-paced, ambitious, delivery programme.
Deliver Functional Design
• Prepare and broadcast the release calendar for monthly and quarterly releases dates for the year.
• Release review with MR and MF dev team
• Release planning - env/versions & management of Trade Delivery Release Roster for testing/major/minor weekend changes
• Regression Environment readiness/issue & defect management
• Unit Testing/SIT/UAT environment readiness/issue & defect management
• Raise production change and follow up for change approval.
• Prepare AIG / ASRM /Implementation & Rollback Plan and review those documents with Implementer (AO / SCB support teams)
• Schedule and Manage CR calls for weekend changes with Dev and PSS team and follow up to ensure CR completeness prior to PSS CAB call
• Follow up and obtain change approval from PSS and respective implementers
• Share change details to Country Business / CTM and schedule Country walkthrough for Monthly release
• Raising Emergency & Expedite Change Requests (end to end, from DRAFT to SIGNOFF)
• Broadcasting reminders for the software cutoff dates to the DTP stakeholders.
• Administrating, Maintaning and Troubleshooting all Build Level issues.
• Variance Check in all streams.
• Adhere to SCB compliane process and maintain SCM controls as COMPLIANT.
• Migrate Mass Release S/W to Base Endevor stage by using STS method and raise a JIRA's to move production
Adherence to Risk & Data Quality Management Requirements
• Continuous management of the Trade Application System risks
• Proactively identify issues and actions
• Monitor and remediate issues and actions from audits
• Awareness of the regulatory world and knowledge of AML, Fraud, Screening, Data Quality needs and ensuring these are catered for in the functional design
Stakeholder Management
• Coordinate with resources and teams across different location

Mandatory Skills:
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs
• Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, Micro service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints
• Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities
• Agile project methodologies
Prior Experience:
• Relevant experience of 5-8 years
• Banking/Fintech experience mandatory
• Trade Finance domain experience preferred.

Our Ideal Candidate
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent degree
• CBAP-certified preferred
Role Specific Technical Competencies
