Key Responsibilities

•    Desired Skills (Oracle) 
•    8+ years of database administration experience with Oracle 19c/12c/11g & PostgreSQL  preferably in a large-scale infrastructure environment 
•    5+ years’ experience in tuning Linux for Oracle RAC ,  Oracle Performance Tuning  
•    Design, configure, test, and support high-availability clustering utilizing Oracle and PostgreSQL technologies 
•    Hands-on experience with Oracle HA ,  DR technologies (RAC, DataGuard,etc.) , VM 
•    Knowledge in oracle database upgrades PSU patches and CPU patches Superb verbal and written skills with excellent attention to customer service 
•    Responsible for understanding operational requirements including Hardware, Architecture, configuration, Integration and maintaining mission-critical Production PostgreSQL databases. 
•    Responsible for all Logical and Physical backup & recovery even PITR recovery 
•    Manage Clusters and upgrading/migrating various Oracle/PostgreSQL database version. 
•    Performance Tuning, Replication, and develop database automation scripts and maintenance
•    Provide technical guidance for integration, testing, design, development, planning of new production systems/databases 
•    Must be able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities 
•    Perform database installations, migrations, patches, and upgrades 
•    Implement problem detection and prevention strategies to reduce database issues and improve service quality 
•    Perform production support administration tasks including proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, tracing, backup, recovery, and on-call support to ensure availability and performance requirements are achieved
