Job Summary
This role is primarily taking care of the 24X7 observability and situation management for all the priority incidents. working on the agreed availability of the DC & CP applications, identifying the gaps in the applications and maintenance, developing, and implementing the stability fixes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Partner with the Business to provide first level, end to end, production services to clients for Straight2Bank suite of applications and other products under the Transaction Banking domain
Business
• Provide end to end production services for CCIB Digital channels for corporate and financial institution clients across the globe
Processes
• Strong Technical / Functional knowledge , Maintain a strong relationship between the Business and Technology Service teams. managing the situations and priorty incidnets end to end with proper rca analysis and exploring options to implement the automated solutions. Maintain Process Document and update periodically. Experience in troubleshooting with the ability to understand and implement generic to complex client requirements
People & Talent
• Lead through example to help build the appropriate culture and values.Work in collaboration with all partners. Able to effectively work in a team and lead virtual teams either with direct or matrix reporting. Drive positive change & embed strong SCB culture in the team across all locatons.
Risk Management
• Assessing Risks at each stage of the production maintenance and highlight appropriately and take actions to mitigate promptly.
Governance
• Adhering to the governance model and preparing the MIS for the weekly/Monthly and other metrics and take actions to maintain the metrics as expected. Following all the process as appropriately.

• Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)
Key stakeholders
• Business Operations, Country SPOCS, Hive leads and Support personnel, Infra teams, Major Incident management teams, and others required to interact part of the BAU.
Other Responsibilities
• Stakeholders Management and mentoring team members for effective deliveries.
• Practice sustainable incident response and blameless post-mortems.
• Should be able to perform support activities and handling the stakeholders end to end.
• Should be responsible for all Production bugs and its delivery.
• Incident Management and Change Management are the key tasks.
• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through deployment,operation, and refinement.
• Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews.
• Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
• Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
• Should be willing to work in night shifts as well
Qualifications
• Overall IT experience of 8-12 years with an added knowledge on Banking Domain.
• Systematic Problem-solving approach, coupled with a strong sense of ownership and drive
• Approachability
• Knowledge on Java and familiar code review.
• Knowledge of Oracle SQL queries, Kong, Python
• Knowledge on Web Server, Tomcat
• Experience in cloud infrastructure and tooling
• Understanding of Unix/Linux systems from kernel to shell and beyond, taking in system libraries, file
• systems, and client-server protocols along the way
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design
• Experience working in a Microsoft environment
• Expertise in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
• Experience using Agile methodologies
• Leadership quality and skills to manage agile tasks for bug fixes / release coordination from PSS.
