Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled developer with extensive development experience in SAP systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust SAP solutions, ensuring the scalability and performance of our enterprise applications. This role requires a deep understanding of both SAP and the Bank's ecosystems, and the ability to align technology solutions with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Data Management:

•    Develop and implement long-term data management strategies that cater to users from multiple departments and regions.
•    Ensure the data model supports the scalability and performance required for enterprise applications.

AI-Compatible Solutions:
•    Design and develop solutions that are compatible with AI technologies to enhance data analytics capabilities.

User Collaboration:
•    Work directly with users to understand their requirements, offer strategic advice, and rapidly iterate through solution versions.
•    Ensure user feedback is incorporated into the development process to meet business needs effectively.

Data Modeling and BI Reporting:
•    Proficiently perform data modeling, solutioning, and business intelligence (BI) reporting.
•    Utilize SAP Datasphere for data modeling and SAC for reporting to provide comprehensive analytics solutions.

Agile Methodology:
•    Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and execution.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in an iterative manner.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
We are expanding our offerings into Data and Analytics Hive, leveraging intelligent entity management and data modelling in SAP Datasphere, with reporting via SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). This initiative aims to provide users with a fast and efficient interface to interrogate large datasets of Bank's data and create on-the-fly reports for analysis and decision-making.

Business
•    Coordinate with business analysts and internal customers to develop functional and technical specification documents 
•    Understand the business needs and their pain points and design a solution that addresses their needs.
•    Since this roles deals with Analytical reporting, there will be a lot of collaboration with business teams, so communication has to be clear and to the point.
•    Ensure that all documentation, processes, and methodologies used in the various phases of system development and implementation is in accordance with the Group’s standards.
•    Possess sound communications skills.
•    Perform analysis of the current state, and future state requirements. Provide solution options, along with high level estimates, impact assessments and technology recommendations.
•    Create well-written and elaborated epics, stories and sub-tasks which can be reviewed by the business and utilized by the development and testing for implementation.
•    Highlight project risks, suggest how they might be mitigated.

Processes
•    Strong commitment to sound development practices, including test and deploy with version control
•    Ensure compliance of regulations and policies. 
•    Ensure the solution is aligned with bank’s ICS controls. 
•    Taking part in review forums such as ARF, FTC,sTK and CCH and ensure the solution is in line with the standards defined in these forums.

People & Talent
•    Should conduct regular status call and share status reports with team management. Collect requirements from business team and analyze it and propose right solution business.
•    Identifies and recommends new technology or practices that will add value to the organization in terms of performance and cost.
•    Undertakes continuous improvement for the dev practice.
•    Mentoring new team members 

Risk Management
•    Ensure the deliverables are completed on time and support the processes whenever there is an absence of a team member by stepping up and performing their role 

Governance
•    Ensure compliance of regulations, policies, and requirements of the In-Scope countries

Regulatory & Business Conduct

Key stakeholders
•    GF – Finance (Performance management / Capital / Liquidity)

Other Responsibilities
•    Lead the Solution Intent creation for different use cases across the SAP-BTP platform
•    Conduct multiple review discussions across multiple stakeholders in refining the Solution intent document
•    Get involved and help drive the overall SAP-BTP enablement including architectural and process recommendations across the portfolio
•    Proactively advice the management team on the emerging technology transformation trends that are most relevant to the company’s goals and evolving needs
•    High degree of proficiency in hands-on low-level design, coding, automation, and troubleshooting
•    API, Microservices design expertise. Build reusable components / API’s when designing any foundational data engineering project.
•    Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
•    Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability etc
•    Work with stakeholders including the executive, product, data and design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
•    Support transformation agenda, business operating models, standards, finance risk controls and compliance with regulations
•    Engage with various business and technology stakeholders, participate in agile squads to recommend and finalise architecture design. Manage key stakeholders and senior management for architecture decisions and inputs.
•    Experience in establishing effective partnerships across teams and influence senior management, peers and subordinates
•    Working with business clients to understand their needs and to implement the cloud strategies designed to meet those needs.
•    Ensuring Security while on-boarding apps into Cloud
•    Design and architect comprehensive SAP solutions that integrate with Hadoop and other big data technologies.

•    Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into Solution Intent documentation.
•    Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, technical documentation, and best practices for SAP and big data integrations.
•    Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
•    Stay updated with the latest advancements in SAP, Hadoop, and big data technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
•    Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science
