Job Summary

  • [At least 10+ Years of overall experience in technology organization - Software Development Life Cycle (Solutioning & Design, Development, Testing, Production Support, etc.) and Vendor Management. 
  • Experience in designing a system from scratch, and having good Engineering Skill, Should have strong architectural skill, Should have worked in various technologies, Understand business requirement and convert them into workable solution using, Strong in Core Java, React-JS, , Handled Big Data /unstructured data, (Core Java, Java Parallel processing, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot,  , HTML5, React JS, CSS, Responsive framework- Bootstrap, JavaScript /jQuery), Database skills, , Big Data, , Elastic Search, Kibana & Unix Shell Script, Google Material UI 
  • Primary skills: Core Java / J2EE Spring, hibernate, Spring Boot. and React JS as front end, MSSql as database.
  • Secondary skills: Remaining mentioned above will be added advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business need with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Management

  • Stay up to date on organization’s policies and processes on Development, Monitoring and QA standards, identify gaps in Current Process/Functionalities, Automation & QA Scope/Strategy and provide solutions to plug the gaps for effective functioning of the application.
  • Track existing application risks (documented vulnerabilities and non-compliance) and ensure to address them on priority in the earliest possible opportunity.


Regulatory & Business Conduct 

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Skills and Experience

Required skill / experience

  • Development: Good Knowledge and/or working experience in;
  • Designing, developing and maintaining Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Oracle PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripts based applications.
  • Developing JMS and REST APIs, DevOps (ADO preferred), Containerization and Orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • ADO Repo, CI/CD Pipeline for fully automated build (Maven) & deployment.
  • Infrastructure as Code (including Infra, DB, Network, etc.)
  • UT Automation (JUnit or equivalent), Prior experience in supporting Performance Testing and Tuning to meet PT Goals.
  • TLS 1.2, OAuth2 Authentication, LDAP/OUD/FRDS/AD, MFA-SSO with SAML, Oracle TDE DB Encryption, Tokenization and File Encryption
  • Ensuring Code Quality & Security with SonarQube or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Quality Assurance: Good Knowledge and/or working experience in testing of;
  • JMS and REST APIs, DevOps (ADO preferred), Containerization and Orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • ADO Repo, CI/CD Pipeline for fully automated build & deployment of Automated Testing Suites.
  • Creating and maintaining Simulators and Stubs needed for testing.
  • Automated Daily Status Reports for Testing and integration.
  • Performing PT for JMS, REST APIs, Web Browser based Web Applications.
  • ADO Repo, CI/CD Pipeline for fully automated build & deployment of Automated Performance Testing Suites.
  • Preferred Tools like JMeter, HP Load Runner or equivalent.
  • Using additional tools to monitor performance, tune settings and troubleshoot issues.
  • Peak, Soak and Stress Testing of all interdependent applications.
  • Preparing NFRs, Testing Strategy, Testing Plan and Generating Reports with Test Results and Evidence.
