Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
• The successful candidate will play a leading role in the delivery of multiple highly visible strategic CRHS squad with the primary responsibilities around Development activities.
• The candidate will be a natural leader and mentor with a driven yet pragmatic, delivery focused mindset and a desire to deliver constant business value through the effective and innovative use of technology. The candidate will be expected to take ownership, responsibility, and accountability for critical deliveries.
• The candidate will work closely with the other team members and senior stakeholders to design and implement critical strategic solutions whilst collaborating and engaging with Business Stakeholders to deliver to exact requirements. The candidate is expected to work in a dynamic global team with developers, project managers, business stakeholders and other technical experts across multiple locations.
• Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the department and projects.
• Play an active role in defining and improving the project and the application.
• Understanding of financial markets business – front/middle/back office
• Proven exposure over a number of years of large project/programme involvement in financial markets
• Deployment automation and monitoring of the application.
• Developing appropriate solutions for the application based on the requirements.
• Enhancing the features of the application based on the requirements.
• Plan coordinate and support changes implementation activities in test and Prod environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
Skills and Experience
• Maintain high productivity in a fast-paced environment showing effective prioritization skills.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Technical Knowledge
• Excellent knowledge and experience in Hadoop HDFS , HiveQL, Pyspark,
• Excellent knowledge and experience in Linux shell scripting, Oracle PL/SQL, ETL
• Good knowledge of dev ops tools like Jenkins, Docker, GitHub, Ansible, Artifactory, and UpGuard
• Experience in Application development, Data Quality
• Understanding of SQL queries and database objects
• Must have at least 8 to 10 years of hands on experience working as Developer.
Qualifications
• Education- Bachelor’s degree or post graduate degree(e.g. science or engineering degree)
• Training- Both techincal and soft skill
• Certifications- Sql related
• Languages- Hadoop HDFS , HiveQL, Pyspark, Linux shell scripting, Oracle PL/SQL
