Job Description: 

Job Summary

•    The purpose of the role is to ensure that the Finance function complies with the requirements of the Bank’s Operational Risk Framework.
•    The successful candidate will act as the second line contact for Finance and will be responsible for understanding the risk and compliance requirements and effectively identify, escalate, mitigate, and resolve risk and compliance matters and reporting to senior management 
•    Process, Risk management and Governance 
•    Facilitate the governance of ORF testing process/results across countries and groups
•    Ensure completeness of the control test results for finance across group and regions
•    Conduct thematic review and deep dive on the control effectiveness among countries/regions 
•    To support M7 related queries
•    Linkage of ORF process with policies and standards
•    Support finance first-line by providing advisory, feedback and direction on operational risk events and remediation
•    Preparation of pack for the various risk committees and forums with all the relevant details, risks events etc impacting finance
•    Ensure accurate and timely identification, classification and reporting of events /losses (GOL/POL/NM/ORE/MRE) in FRC
•    Rationalisation of the deck to ensure all relevant data is available 
•    Monitoring and reviewing the action items and agenda for every FRC
•    Socialisation of the methodology for booking of losses across countries 
•    Effective tracking of MRE and RCR at the right level with active collaboration with countries
•    Tracking of external events and people attrition with trend analysis for FRC

Qualifications

Education     University Degree or Equivalent Preferably with a Financial Services Background
