Job Summary

We are seeking a talented tech savvy delivery lead to join a high performing technology team to roll out digital payments solution for SCB customers. The candidate must be a skilled professional who has previously managed delivery team(s), experience in end to end software development using Agile methodologies and must have high proficiency in the latest technologies adapted in the industry

Key Responsibilities

  • Good exposure to banking domain and banking products in terms of clear understanding of product architecture, product design and Configuration/parameters required to change to accommodate requests for customization.
  • Responsible for managing the design & architecture for small to medium projects/ contributing to large complex projects.
  • Expected to continue to build upon domain knowledge and technical/ proprietary skills to reach levels of industry acknowledgement.
  • Works as a guide and independently sets directions for medium sized projects of high complexity.
  • Works on problems of highly complex scope, through expert usage of non-standard concepts & principles requiring high levels of judgement & interpretation.
  • Determines a course of action, which is then executed by project teams. Can offer multiple solutions to problems through existing and new methodologies and then exercises judgement to determine most appropriate solution. Requires expert knowledge of multiple development technologies. Applies advanced knowledge and experience to the development of new methods, programs and procedures. The role would offer expertise cutting across units and would make tactical decisions which will have an impact on the business. Manages divergent interest and perspectives. Advises Sr Management on specialised technical issues. Conducts, supports and reports research in ones own area of expertise. Is responsible for capability development of the team/ unit.

 

Qualifications

  • Banking Domain Knowledge is preferable
  • Experience in the software development using Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge & Experience in practising Agile & Lean framework 
  • Knowledge & Experience in the API & Microservices
  • Knowledge & Experience in J2EE and good understanding of OOA and OOP
  • Knowledge & Experience in Integration technologies – MQ, Kafka, Solace
  • Knowledge / Experience in Container platform and Cloud technologies
  • Knowledge / Experience in DevOps & SRE
  • Experiences with relational databases and NOSQL databases
  • Experience in the development of mobile/online banking platform
  • More than 10+ years’ experience in software development domain
