Fund Accounting & Transfer Agency Functional Specialist and Automation Tester
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
As part of DCCP- Financial Securities Services Technology, the Testing resource is recruited to perform the testing and Deliver quality product to support various initiatives that enables Operations to fulfil Client requirements
Business
Technical Requirement:
• Experience in understanding the complex buss. Requirements
• Experience in Designing the test cases for testing the vendor-based Oracle application and Enterprise applications in .Net
• Should have good experience in Automation Framework development & testing of open-source tools like selenium, cucumber or any licensed software.
• Should have knowledge in API automation testing of Rest Assure and Postman.
• Should have experience in Oracle /SQL server, Python.
• Good knowledge on testing the DWBI technology of application & Testing.
• Should be able to work on data preparation & Validation for various Buss. Requirements.
Functional Requirement:
• Experience in Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency and (or) Hedge Fund Administration. Knowledge of market instruments and conventions.
• Specialism within Fund Accounting/ client reporting/ investment operations.
• Hands –on in MultiFonds Fund Administration and Global Investor products or equivalent Fund Accounting Products
• The resource would need to be a Senior Test Practitioner, with extensive experience (10+ years) of delivery and risk challenges associated with cross border/complex matrix programmes.
• Have a proven track record of designing and developing comprehensive test strategy and recommendations of best practice and approach to agile delivery.
• Able to demonstrate thought leadership in testing best practice and supporting tools.
• Able to provide strategic approach in parallel with build/execution.
• Senior stakeholder engagement experience.
• Able to produce appropriate level reporting for Steering Committee Meetings and Senior Leadership
• Highly experienced in test automation solutions and implementations
• Detailed understanding of software development life cycle and importance of QA in development and maintenance of software app
• Solid knowledge of JIRA, XML and Excel
• Strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of test scenarios and test cases
• Identify the test data required to complete designated test activities.
• Deliver effort estimation and reporting of daily progress.
Risk Management
Proactively identify any vulnerabilities in requirements and design through static testing and test the application environment and address as and when necessary.
Governance
Maintain all test controls as per SDF mandated process. Follow Release management standards and tools to deploy the deliverable to production. Handover to Production Support as per process

• Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values, Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats)
• Coordinates between Development team, Product Vendor and Business Stakeholders for requirement finalization.
• Understand Functional Requirement.
• Provide quality delivery by developing comprehensive test cases that is required to test the various components or reports.
• Perform SIT, RT and assist UAT and support PSS whenever there is a need.
• Proactively identify the testing coverage by visualizing the error prone areas and ways to test those workflows and functionalities.
• Coordinates between various internal support teams.
• Picks up new technologies with ease, solves complex technical problems and multitasks between different projects
