Job Summary
The TX DT Test Manager will be a key member of Trade Engineering team, responsible for leading and managing the TX DT testing team and driving the vision for future testing initiatives within TX DT hive. This role will also serve as the Chapter Lead for TX DT Testing, overseeing the development of testing skills, practices, and capabilities across the squads.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, mentor, and mange the TX DT Testing team
• Define and execute the overall test strategy, ensuring quality across all phases of software delivery
• Aligning test strategy with overall project goals and timelines
• Partner with engineers, product owners and delivery teams to embed testing in the development lifecycle (shit left testing)
• Establish testing standards, tools, and metrics to ensure consistent quality across squads
• Build testing competency across TX DT hive through training, coaching, and knowledge sharing
• Act as the chapter lead for testing, fostering continuous quality across teams
• Drive innovation in testing by leveraging AI/ML
People and Talent
• Employ, engage and retain high quality talent that the team is adequately staffed and skilled to deliver on business commitments
• Lead through example and build appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations for the team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
• Bridge skill / capability gaps through learning and development
• Ensure role, job descriptions and expectations are clearly set and periodic feedback provided to the entire team
• Ensure the agreed blend and balance of in-house and vendor resources
Adherence to Risk & Data Quality Management Requirements
• Continuous management of the Trade Application System risks
• Proactively identify issues and actions
• Monitor and remediate issues and actions from audits
• Awareness of the regulatory world and knowledge of AML, Fraud, Screening, Data Quality needs and ensuring these are catered for in the functional design
Stakeholder Management
• Coordinate with resources and teams across different location

Skills and Experience
• Relevant experience of 15-20 years
• Banking/Fintech experience mandatory
• Trade Finance domain experience preferred
• Automation Tools and Framework
• Agile, DevOps and CI/CD
• Microservices and Cloud
Programming Languages:
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript for writing automated tests.
Test Management:
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, or Cypress.
• Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
Defect Tracking and Test Management:
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, ADO.
• Familiarity with test management tools
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
Database/SQL:
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with database testing.
• Ability to write and execute complex SQL queries.
