• The role holder will play a pivotal role in driving the overall agenda of Deposit Operations and would be responsible for the below key area:
• Will be responsible for designing the standards and operational processes around the same. Identify areas of improvement, standardization and adopting best practises and benchmarking against the competitors leading to the overall improvement of customer satisfaction.
• Need to be collaborative and work together in driving the agenda across market and should be having good communication skills.
• Need to work independently and be a team player and should be able to provide out of box ideas and solutions.
• Needs to be risk oriented and be responsible in defining controls and mitigants and align to the Risk framework.
• Capable in driving programs and projects
• Drive strategic programs aligning to automation of process, digitization thereby driving the transformation agenda.
Strategy
• Define and drive the Operations strategy based on the Retail Banking Deposit Ops function across markets, products, and account types.
• Work with markets in relooking into the processes and identify areas of optimization, efficiency and enhancing client experience.
• Drive large and strategic programs across WRB Ops and be the subject matter expert.
• Support Product, Operations and other Value centres on a day-to-day basis in areas of process changes, improvements and new product launches.
• Be a change agent and drive transformation and digitization agenda partnering with cross stakeholders.

• Ensures a no surprises culture – no failed audits relating to S&T.
• Manages the maintenance of operational integrity throughout the unit.
• Understands market practices, awareness of local regulations, group and business policies, business standard procedures and best practices.
• Establishes a performance culture around Risk Management using root cause analysis and corrective action planning as key elements of operational risk management.
• Proactively identifies, assess, and mitigates risk issues.
• Uses internal/ external audit findings to further improve service excellence.

• Demonstrate an awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
