Responsibilities

  • Carry out CDD function and ensure completeness of CDD information and documentation for Clients that is current, valid and complete and check the quality of CDD information as required before approval. 
  • To support in performing account opening related activities (including statement set-up) in CDD and Liabilities Operations
  • Deal with queries, and complaints efficiently, work closely with team members, and propose improvements to procedures to improve processing efficiency/quality.
  • Ensure Data accuracy and completeness in Core Banking and CDD systems.
  • To engage in CDD and Liabilities operation projects conducted based on group /local requirements.
  • To support the unit to maintain the Country Dashboard on Onboarding / Periodic Risk Reviews/Dynamic Risk Reviews and Error dashboards for SME and Individual Banking Clients as per the required standards. 
  • Assures AML CDD risk management and ensures material risks are identified, assessed, mitigated, monitored, and reported / escalated in accordance with the bank’s Risk Management Framework. 
  • To support on handling document reconciliation for scanned images and for scanning workflow / eops docs and ensure that all documents are transferred to the main vault for safe keeping.
  • Ensure agreed turn around time is adhered when executing CDD and account opening.
  • To maintain and update MI / trackers related to CDD /Onboarding activities.
  • To maintain the quality, and accuracy of the activities performed and ensure zero exceptions on qulaity asuarnce checks.
  • Analyze and ensure compliance with internal policy and local regulatory requirements. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to meet critical cut off times.
  • Any other activities as defined by CDD and Liabilities Operations.

Branch Network, RMs, CFCC/CDD Advisor, Legal, WRB Operations Team and FCSO Team

 

Qualifications

Experience and knowledge in Banking industry with AML procedures will be an added advantage
