Title: Analyst - Business Information Reporting

JOB SUMMARY
The core functions of this role are to ; Assist in the work of the Strategic Business Information Management (SBIM) unit within WRB Sri Lanka in an efficient and effective manner, by providing quality MI and output for stakeholder both within and between other functions, with accuracy and fulfilment of agreed deliverables, within approved / agreed time frames. This role holder is also a key contributor to the performance management agenda of WRB with the guidance of the People Leader and senior WRB stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
• Contributor for the design and implementation of an end-to-end solution on sales performance measurement to enable accurate and timely incentive payout
Business
• Work closely with the business stakeholders in the standardization of MI and delivery of Routine MIs
• Design and develop a robust monitoring and tracking system on key business performance information to provide responsive and insightful decision making support to the business stakeholders.
• Provide complete, accurate and timely data and management information to the business stakeholders and colleagues to aid their analysis, computations.
• Provide independent but fact based analysis and value added suggestions to assist the business stakeholders in seeking out the best solution to their business management information needs.
• Identify and where feasible, automate current performance-tracking methods and processes to minimize manual intervention to improve timeliness and quality of data delivered for business information management reporting purposes.
• Continual management of the end to end sales performance process to reflect changing business focus and provide a timely response to new management requirements

• Maintain open channels of communications with all stakeholders and be collaborative with team members to enhance synergy within the team.
Governance
• Strict adherence to data governance regulations and control registers governing the team’s processes. Data confidentiality to be maintained where required and necessary steps to be taken to prevent data leakage/ unauthorised data dissemination.

• CPBBTT, Business heads, Product managers, Retail Analytics team, Frontline sales teams and team leaders, Branch Managers, HR Business partners, IT support teams, Regional analytics teams
Our Ideal Candidate
• Preferably possess a full/part qualification of a professional or academic qualification in Economics, computer science, Management or any other related field. Quantitative backgrounds will have a distinct advantage
• Strong knowledge on analytical tools/ methods and MS Excel
• Experience in implementing management information solutions
• Detailed oriented individual with an analytical mind
• Proactive and able to work independently and willing to learn in a dynamic environment
• Sound team player
