Job Summary

The purpose of the role is to acquire high-net-worth individuals into the Priority Banking (Affluent) segment of Standard Chartered Bank.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquiring of New-to-Bank Priority Banking clients on Deposit, Loans and /or selected top tier corporate salary-based criteria.
  • Acquiring Priority clients from affluent alliances, databases, mini catchment promotions, referral programs, etc.
  • Increasing the product holdings of per customer by effective cross selling of financial solutions, increasing revenue and meeting Net Sales Revenue (NSR) target per client.
  • To participate in marketing and promotional activities for client acquisition.
  • To comply with all applicable money laundering prevention/Know Your Customer /Customer Due Diligence procedures as per group, local regulator and in particular, report any suspicious activity to the relevant compliance team.
  • Ensure strict compliance to all internal guidelines issued at both group and country level pertaining to HR, Legal & Compliance, Finance, Credit and Operational Risk, Service Quality, Training and certification.
  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in client acquisition / management in the service industry (preferably from a financial / banking industry)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Negotiation and objection handling skills (of high-net-worth individuals)
  • Customer orientation and sales focused
  • Results oriented, target driven personality
  • Excellent business acumen in business risk assessment

Qualifications

A professional qualification or degree related to Sales and Marketing
