Job Summary

• As a Relationship Manager, you will build trusted relationships with Priority Banking and Priority Private Banking clients, helping them achieve their wealth goals through tailored investment and portfolio solutions. Supported by specialists in investment, insurance, products, and treasury, you’ll deliver comprehensive strategies that drive long-term growth and stability.

• This role gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in relationship management, sales, and client engagement, while advancing your career across Wealth and Retail Banking or other client segments.

About our Wealth and Retail Banking business

  • Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) serves more than 13 million individuals and small businesses, with a focus on the affluent segment including Private Banking, Priority Private, Priority Banking, and Premium. In the mass retail space, we're focused on emerging affluent clients who will progress in their wealth journey with us and form the pipeline of future affluent clients.
  • We’re a leading wealth manager in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Our local presence and international network enable us to capture the strong structural tailwinds which are driving cross-border wealth flows. Our comprehensive product offerings span across deposits, payments, financing, advisory, investments and bancassurance.
  • We’re investing USD $1.5 billion in our Affluent banking business. Our investment focuses on affluent frontline teams, wealth and digital platforms, and client centres, as well as brand and marketing, to drive growth. You’ll join a growing franchise within the Standard Chartered Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Support our clients in achieving their financial goals as they progress through their career and life-stages.

• Build long-term relationships by understanding clients’ financial needs and aspirations and delivering tailored wealth and investment solutions.

• Share timely market insights and investment updates from the Chief Investment Office (CIO) to help clients make informed decisions.

• Leverage digital tools such as myWealth to create customised portfolios and monitor performance based on CIO guidance.

• Deliver exceptional client experiences through proactive engagement and personalised service.

 

Skills and Experience

• Relevant experience with a minimum of two years in client acquisition, relationship management, and retail banking.

• Technical expertise in consumer banking products, including treasury, equities, funds, and insurance.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.

• Proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, international environment.

• Local market knowledge with established client networks and understanding of regional dynamics.
